Presumably you have an appointment with someone else though before your due date? At this stage your BP should be checked at least every two weeks.

Well I am back from the Hospital.

Had my ECG all looked ok but heart was racing. Bloods were initially clear then they took some direct from a main vein and they oxygen levels were lower than they should be. Gave me some injection to pick it up which was really stinging when it went in.

I have an appointment with the DVT team tomorrow morning to rule out any clots as the cause.

Might just be that I will have a faster heart rate sometimes until baby is born and when all she is born it will return to normal!

So for tonight I have to sit and not do anything. No problem with that at all! :rotfl:
I had a similar palaver in my last pregnancy - to check for DVT they did ultrasounds of both my legs.

They were very good and I can't complain as they were fast in doing everything. Back in tomorrow so maybe they will ultra sound me on my legs!

Cheered up a bit now, had some dinner and I'm on the couch which is a change of scenery from bed... still in pain and we only have solpadol in which I can't take.

I just had some strange pains down at my pelvis, like twinging pains only 3 or 4 though and they have gone now. Odd.

How far in advance have people had scan letters in ? I'm supposed to be due a scan at 36 weeks but haven't had a date in yet.

Are you 37 weeks now or thereabouts?

    I see someone at 36, 38, 40, 41! I hope theyre not leaving you until 41!?

I have the munchies...it's awful but I could just sit here, drink all my squash and eat everything in sight!

Same here I am starving 24/7!

Feel ropey today. Stomach has felt jippy all day and sickly. Havnt slept well either which doesnt help.
Such a contrast to monday where I had a lovely surge of energy and could have tackled anything.
Netflix and sofa and PJ day.

I had horrendous wind/tummy pain last night, actually freaked out for a minute I was having a contraction but it was too high up, I was up for about an hour at 4am with it back and forth to the loo.

I get so cross about the MatB1 rubbish so many of us have to go through. Why can't the midwives just be organised and make a point of handing it to us at the 25 week appointment?! I had to get a blank form from my GP's reception then go to a drop-in clinic to get it filled in and signed by some random MW I'd never met because I hadn't realised I needed to hand it in at that time and the MW never even mentioned it to remind me! There just doesn't seem to be a lot of guidance from them at the appointments, just check the basics and send you on your way, but when you're a first timer it really helps to have someone holding your hand and helping with the admin! :o

Today I've wasted about 3 hours trying to figure out Photoshop and given up! :o I just wanted to figure out how to make a cute birth announcement picture when Baby Bird finally arrives but it's just not happening! :(

Reading everyones issues about appts and forms etc makes me very grateful for the system where I live!

That makes no sense they made you go to a drop in clinic - the GP could have filled in the form for you, mine did, it doesnt need to be done by a midwife. I got mine at my 25 week appt - I did have to ask but your receptionist should have got a dr to sign it and then kept it at reception for you!

Also we phone up for our scans here, so can arrange a convenient time, no letters just popping through the post.

And my midwife gave me a mobile number which I can text her on at any time and she always gets back to me.

MATB1 - ive not had a midwife appt since 16 weeks and wont have one until 28 weeks so i just phoned the drs surgery and asked them to ask the midwife to fill it in for me and i picked it up from reception so that may be an option if you need it sooner and dont particularly need an appt.

We are meeting with the landlord tonight. DH phoned him earlier to arrange and apparently LL said he wanted to sort the issue out, whether that means kicking us out or resolving things and keeping us i have no idea. I assume it would be in his interests to keep us, we arent bad tenants, have never missed a payment, we keep everything clean and well maintained so they have no reason to complain about us apart from them being unhappy about us complaining...If that makes sense lol!

Didnt you get a 25 week appt?

Glad you are meeting with the landlord! Will be interesting to see if the agent has been lying to him.

So I had my 34 week appt, I did have to have the blood test but only 1 vial so I guess it was probably the anaemia thing I actually forgot to ask her!

Then she did my weight/bmi, blood pressure and urine test, babys heart beat - who immediately starting trying to kick the doppler off again - she does not like it!

Then measured my bump - she took it as 30cm and Im about 33/4 weeks, but the dr measured it as 30cm at my 31 week appt, so we think she is measuring like small and the drs are measuring big, so considering my 29 week scan was fine shes not worried and she said she could see my bump had grown, it was the first thing she said when I went into the room!

She also did mrsa swabs, as the hospital Im going to is mrsa free.

Then went through some of the list of stuff in the notes, asked if I had any questions about pain relief etc, and told me about this new feeding class at the local hospital.

Oh and when she did the heart beat, she moved the doppler about so we could check if the head has moved down or not, and she's sure it has now so baby is no longer breech so I am very pleased about that!

Nope- second baby and low risk so I've had a booking in, 16 weeks and will have 28 week, 34 weeks then every 2 weeks until birth I believe. I sometimes feel a little neglected as it will be 3 months since I saw anyone regarding my pregnancy at my next appointment but I guess I should look at it as a good thing, no news is good news right?

Landlords have just left, it's safe to say the victory is ours and they have retracted their notice and we have negotiated as needed. I still feel a little bitter that it has all happened though, so much unnecessary stress! we are hoping to buy soon so will get great pleasure from handing our notice in!

I hope all those feeling rubbish are better soon! ((Hugs))

    I've been Money Tipped!
Yep Claire I won't see her until 41 weeks. I am seeing consultant next week but that's still 3 weeks between appts! She hasn't discussed anything my notes say she should & to be honest if we hadn't done NCT I'd be panicking right now!

Glad you got on ok at your appt, your mw sounds lovely :)
