Samtoby and mysecretalias - hope you are both moving towards being on the mend!
Can someone please remind me of why I was looking forward to bf getting home?! Last night he wanted to watch top gear so I was going to toddle off to the bedroom and get a few bits straightened up/done/watch food programmes but ended up staying in the living room with him as he kept saying he wanted to spend some time with me (wouldn't have minded but I find top gear so horrendously boring!) then he tossed and turned all night and every time he moved he wanted more space so kept catching me with his knees then telling me to move! his tablets mean he's completely out of it and has no idea what he's doing 9or what he did the next day) so I find it hard to be mad at him for it but honestly I couldn't get myself comfy last night anyway so that didn't helpbah
Ah well - he has strength and conditioning today then is off home to see to the gas man coming to fit my beautiful new cookerCan't wait to start being able to have a play and bake some treats and yummy dinners! Saving now to start amassing some quality bakeware etc

Aw lush that sounds a pain, if it's any consolation I thought a night in hospital last night might be a nice break for both me and OH (in terms of sleeping - we always seem to be in each other's way at night, elbowing each other in the face and whatnot) but we ended up desperately missing each other instead!!!
I suppose you can never have it both ways!!
How exciting about getting a new cooker though! I can't wait to move into our new home and start baking lotsOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

My hubby has been mostly sleeping on the sofa for weeks now cos I can't get comfy and it disturbs him. Helps both of us get more sleep!
Now and again I miss him, then he spends an hour or two in bed snoring (like last night) and stealing the duvet and I remember why it's nicer being by myself!
Hugs to the poorly ladies, hope you feel better soon x:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I think it may get to that point for us and DH soon...I lie there at night not being able to get comfy because hes got his bum sticking out or his head is on my pillow or he's snoring!!! I must say "turn over you're snoring" at least 10 times a night
I always go to bed really early if he's out so that i can spread out for a few hours!0 -
I wish we had a spare room or a decent sized sofa for one of us to sleep on! OH never gets up even if he's just clock-watching all night because he knows he won't sleep in the living room so he might as well be warm and comfy in bed... but oh, how I'd appreciate a night in bed on my own so I can stretch out and have a really good sleep!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Yeah our spare room is now try nursery so normally DH would have gone in there either if he's had a cold or we were disturbing each other since I've been pregnant but can't anymore! Mind you he can sleep anywhere even on a floor with no pillow so if it got to that point I know he'd sleep on the nursery fluffy rug lol!0

mysecretalias wrote: »Hi all apologies for posting and running earlier. Unfortunately I collapsed at home and ended up in an ambulance being rushed to hospital. They're keeping me in for a couple of days, they think it could be dehydration, an ear infection, and baby sitting on a blood vessel which is causing the dizziness and lightheadedness (which I'm still getting several hours later) so they have been monitoring me and baby. Baby is thankfully fine, it's just me they have to sort out now. Done lots of tests and more due tomorrow. Bit depressing really as it's the first time in ages I've not been with my OH overnight and it's a bit upsetting. Just lying here on the ward in the dark deciding to come on here for a bit of company instead. Sorry as I haven't read back over the last couple of pages but thanks for anyone who offered advice to my post this morning as I'm sure you all did. I'll read back tomorrow morning, just so exhausted right now I am going to try and get some sleep.0

I'm glad I'm not the only one disturbed at night by their OH - we've just moved the toddler out of our room in preparation for the baby so he's been sleeping in her room too until she's settled there and I've slept so much better since he's not been in with me.0
