Skintchick - That sounds like a great bargain. I was just commenting to DH today that a few months ago pushchairs/prams were a complete mystery. They all look the same. Today though when we were walking around the retail outlet I could identify most of them and knew their approximate price lol.

AFM, I have just had a bit of a melt down at DH. I'm feeling quite insecure about how my appearance has changed. I am not one of the naturally glowy and loves being pregnant type people. I also feel a little bit guilty about the fact that feeling like this makes me want my little bean to make an appearance sooner rather than later. Don't get me wrong I cannot wait to meet her but I can't help being impatient to also get a bit of myself back. I miss going to the gym and doing the exercise classes and along with that the feeling of being much more energised, healthy and good about myself. I guess I am just wondering whether anyone else can identify with this. Am I the only person that as much as I glad I am pregnant I am looking forward to not being pregnant?

VickyVics you can still go to the gym. I still do my yoga and it's not a pregnancy class, it's a normal class and I'm one of the most advanced/flexible even at 28 weeks! If your body is accustomed to it then it's safe during pregnancy.

You will find it hard after birth as you will need to be with your baby so it's difficult to do classes/gym.

    Lara44 that's amazing! I know what I'm doing tommorow!
I had the bag with my son and used it all the way through, I know what you mean that it's not amazing to look at, but it's pretty sizeable and I always found it very useful.

skintchick that's a lovely colour pushchair, I bet it costs loads brand new, it's lovely that you managed to get such a bargain :T

Vicky if you were a bit of a gym bunny before I'm sure its still ok to go to the gym, as long as you're not lifting 50kg weights and doing loads of situps I'm sure you'll be fine! and after you have her, you can take her along in the moses basket while you work out lol!

I've always been a "lady of circumference" and with this baby I've been all baby so I've quite enjoyed the refreshment of not worrying about looking fat.

In the last few weeks though my face has got bigger and my bum feels huge so I'm looking forward to jumping back on the weightwatchers wagon when she arrives.

Thank you so much ladies. I will update the list when I get home.

After I have done this will someone take on the list duties?

I feel the same, I'm loving having a bump but iv definitely put weight on my face and bum! I feel like my face is so chubby especially around my chin. I was doing slimming world before I got pregnant so I'm sort of looking forward to getting back on it afterwards (although I think I might try weightwatchers instead)

I was doing Slimming World before pregnancy. In fact I was a target member and I think that is partly the source of the problem I guess. It feels like I am/have gone backwards in that way. When LO is born I am going to go onto Weight Watchers to get myself some control again. Have been browsing eBay to see if I can get a pack without having to fork out a fortune to register and pay a monthly subscription x

Give yourself a bit of time to chill after having the baby, Vicky - it's unrealistic, I think, to assume you can spring into diet / exercise action really fast afterwards, more like setting yourself up to fail?

I found I lost weight gradually when BF-ing, and I was eating everything in sight. If it wasn't nailed down, I scoffed it.

Congrats Samtoby, what lovely news!! (you overtook me lol)

I had my show this morning after 8 hours of pretty strong Braxon Hicks, started getting worried but seems to have settled down now - do we need to inform hospital after the show?

My mam is on holiday until Tuesday night and my OH is at work until Thursday. With both birthing partners not around I really need to keep my legs closed haha!

Hope everyone is doing well x

No need to let the hospital know about a show Jen - I had mine almost 3 weeks ago now and a bit more this morning and I just mentioned it to my midwife at the next appointment. You only need to let them know if your waters break as there's a risk of infection after that.

NO more queue jumpers please!!! I'm next - I need this baby out now! (Congrats though Samtoby)
