Sorry all those in bold and in front of me! My waters went earlier on but no contractions so came in, was monitored, had a sweep and after another vigorous fiddle, Chloe Elizabeth entered this world at 23:57 weighing just over 7lb.

The vigerous fiddle I was 3cm. My established labour was 42 minutes so was extremely painful and fast but of course it was worth it.

Love to you all through the support through my miscarriage this time last year and I have loved spending my journey with you ladies (and a few men along the way)

I feel like I owe you all my sanity for replying to my messages and being so kind x

I KNEW Chloe wouldn't wait until 40 weeks to meet you!! Oh congratulations, with everything you had posted about your previous mc just days ago it's fantastic to know your baby girl is here!! Hope you are both healthy and happy and go home quickly.

You were exactly 4 weeks ahead of me so I've kind of followed your pregnancy of sign of what's going to happen for me next, so your birth announcement has put a lovely warm feeling in my heart that my son will be here before long xxxx

Congratulations Samtoby. So pleased for you that all is well and that Chloe wanted to meet you sooner rather than later. Thank you for always updating the lists and your numerous posts.

What lovely news to start the day with.

    This is an epic post!

    re Waxing.
I had a hollywood wax before we went on our babymoon at about 21 weeks. Was a bit more painful than before but not unbearable! Its grown back loads since then so i will need to figure out what to do as my hospital has signs up saying please don't shave after 36 weeks. Think its due to regrowth?

    AFM,

I've been rubbish at replying to posts (sorry girls!) but after a hectic week, I feel a bit better.

Had physio on Monday for my pelvis which has helped a little bit, still not very mobile though!

Tuesday was my first appointment at the diabetic clinic. Got shown how to test blood sugars, and saw a dietician. Going to try and see of diet can change it for a week (i have made changes bit my blood sugars are still too high so think i will be on metaformin sp?

Got to see the baby again which was nice and at 28+6 estimated weight was 3lb 10oz?! Eek big baby alert! Babys abdominal cavity was off the top end of the scale which is classic diabetes.

Will see a consultant on Tuesday so presumably they will discuss birth options etc?

Also had first NCT antenatel class, was ok, think as the weeks go on the group will bond! I hope anyway! I could do with some Mummy friends.

Wednesday i went to the doctors who prescribed more randatine for heartburn and cocodamol sp? for my pelvis. I took wed afternoon and Thursday off and rested and feels so much better for it. Pretty sure work hate me though, although they are being great. (County Council).

    Robots:
roller derby sounds fun, although i think i don't have the coordination needed for that! I can’t believe you only just now weigh more than at conception! I look and feel like a whale! The lady in mothercare yesterday thought i was imminently due, at 29 + 3!!!! I've not heard anything about GBS. (what does stand for?). I hope you manage to get the birth you want.

    Firery:
Im also find sleep harder now! I actually got up at 6:30am on a Saturday! Unheard of for me! Heartburn and pgp i can totally and utterly sympathise with. It’s not fun at all! Hopefully your feeling a bit better now.

Welcome to the thread, such lovely ladies here.
    Aquamarinemonkey:
It sounds like i might be you next week, with regards to the medication, although my babys tummy is bigger than normal. :( I’m pretty sure this means i will be induced and won’t get my water birth.
Im also using holiday to cut my week down to 4 days and will finish at 36 weeks. Although the amount of time of for extra scans, appointments etc, it will feel like a lot less time at work!

I still haven’t heard my babys heartbeat, apparently the midwives don’t do it here?

    Neverdisparegirl:
Your job sounds interesting, It sounds like you had a nice easter break with your son. (congrats to your DH for completing the London marathon and then flying to Israel! Thats hardcore!) Glad babys ok after your protein detection.

Sophias mum, glad your nursery is nearly sorted. We haven’t started on ours yet! way too much other decorating to do first! Guess what we are doing this weekend!

    Will update more later!

Many congratulations, Samtoby, and what a lovely name!
