    Still waiting for baby :(

Now 40+9 and have another sweep tomorrow. Have tried all sorts to get baby moving, but it must be too comfy. Getting past the frustrated stage now...

Oh blondy this is what I am dreading! :(
are you resting up or not stopping?! Today I've been on a long walk to the shops, picked up a pineapple (worth a try!), got babies moses basket all washed and ready, mopped the floors, now I'm bouncing on my ball before I bake/cook dinner!!
Am hoping it will help me sleep better tonight! Either that or I wont want to move later tonight/tomorrow!!

I've got my first sweep wed.

#24 just checking in here to say hi and read the updates!

OH pregnancy is going along well - due date 17/05 and time just seems to be flying. Our older two kids (OH previous marriage) are having mixed feelings - 17 y/r old (boy) is not happy at all about this impending baby, but 13 y/r old (girl) couldn't be more excited !!

We still haven't wanted to find out the gender but OH thinks it is a boy. Everything 'normal' at the check ups so just a waiting game really! Lots of shopping and preparations underway, OH having not been pregnant for 13 years has a new lease of life for baby shopping ;)

Congrats to all with new arrivals and good luck to those with near due dates :)

I have been on long walks, eaten pineapple, reflexology, bounced on ball, Dtd, curry etc but nothing has worked. Have been active up untill yesterday as have some other pregnancy related problems that are causing me issues.

Oh my. I have just found a bra that actually fits and its my size....

I have gone from a 30/32B to a 36DD:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:......I knew the ladies had grown but wow - if only I could pop a wonderbra on and a tight dress and take advantage......I don't know that milky patches would complete the look lol.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Congratulations Claire! :)

I had a big emotional wobble on Thursday, great days on Friday (fun) & Sat (productive), but came over feeling very odd about 5 yesterday... Which lasted about 24hrs... During which time I rotated between backache, restless, sleepy, restless legs, belly ache and feeling dizzy.... And now, compared to 48, even 24 hrs ago, my bump is higher, very firm in places & seems to stick out more. Odd.

Oh, and on Saturday night I was told by 2 friends that my bump was "very neat", "nicely contained", and "smaller than they thought it would be by now". I wonder if they'd see the difference now that I can?!

  • Sam, I feel your frustration, I'm down to 1 great bra & 1 ok bra... Both of which have ended up in the wash today, oops. So I'm wearing one of the 2 Primark cheepy nursing bras I bought in their biggest size :o I'll have to undress whilst husband is distracted!

Ouch! The men in my life are all kicking me!

First DS was swinging his legs under the table at dinner and caught me in the shins, then OH tripped over my legs, and now the baby's kicking me in the ribs. huh!

I'm so done being pregnant! Still trying to enforce an eviction notice on little madam ;) today lots of walking again (shopping/errands with mil) and bouncing on my ball.

The past few days have been all about bouncing on the ball, dtd (!), walking and generally trying to encourage her out - including actually talking to her telling her to make a move now!

Have now settled on making plans and keeping as busy a possible (very easy with mil around) as that way I figure if we make it more awkward for her to come she might come ;)

Off to that Trinity Leeds tomorrow, we've not been yet and fancy a nosey plus figure it should be quieter on a Tuesday than a weekend. Got a new bag and dress today - the dress looks OK now with a bump, will be flattering whilst I shift any baby weight and can then easily be taken in a bit when I'm back to pre baby weight :-) don't often treat myself and havent bought clothes for myself other than a T-shirt, jeans and a top/dress the whole pregnancy and as I had some money left I decided I would treat myself :-)

Having irregular tightenings, more regularly than the last few days but still irregular, and period pains but not developing in to anything yet :-( hurry up little lush!

  • Hope it won't be long for you Lush.

Mind you, 31st March is an ideal birthday. In my experience, anyway.....
