Am I right in thinking that weight gain is fastest between 20 and 30 weeks and slows down a bit after that? I hope so, I've out just under 2 stone on at just over 30 weeks!

I think the largest weight gain on average is between 30 weeks and 36 weeks, but I could be wrong.

    28 weeks today!

Re the weight gain, I have a high BMI and have gained about 10lb so far. I think someone was talking about this link the other day (http://www.babyyourbaby.org/pregnancy/during-pregnancy/weight-gain.php), it says I'm in the middle of the range of what I should gain by this stage.

Maybe I'll lose a few pounds today, nesting has majorly set in and OH is sat here in shock at the 2 page list of household jobs I've written! :rotfl:

I have gained two stone. I think its relative to your body make up - depends what type of body you have but also how your pregnancy has been. Sickness normally causes you to loose weight etc.

I have had a quiet day and its really dawning on me that baby is due in only 8 weeks!

I've probably gained about two stone, maybe a little more now too - looking forward to evicting baby and losing some of it!

Really wish she'd get moving now. This week would be the perfect time for her to make an appearance as my mum and mil are both off work :-)

Can't wait to be able to get some casual, non-maternity, clothes. I'm literally down to two outfits that are comfortable so can't wait to be able to have a bit more choice. Even if I have to buy a couple of sizes up for a while!

Bought a third sleeping bag today, and a super cute Bambi and Thumper outfit :-) we've also finally ordered a car seat that goes past the first few months.we are limited in choice as we need one that turns, when we started looking there was just the maxi cosi axiss, now there's two more; a cybex one and the Britax Dual fix...we've decided on the dual fix as it turns 360 (the axiss only does 180 and the cybex does 360 but more awkwardly) and we can keep bubs facing rearward as long as possible.

We've ordered from Boots as we got a £25 off voucher (on a spend of £100 or more on pushchairs or car seats) from the parenting club so that made it a little cheaper and then when you look at the advantage card points as being like cash back (especially at 10 per £1 from the parenting club) we effectively got £34 back in points! Winner :-)

ASDA have also made their boxes of nappies £5 on roll back so we bought a box of newborn today (as we only had the free ones and then some size 2 pampers) and then when we got home ordered 2 boxes of size 2 and 4 of size 3 so once they are delivered we will have a handy nappy stash.

What are people's thoughts on the nappy wrappers like the sangenics etc? Bf was previously against them but asked today if I wanted one for the nursery and I can't decide...part of me thinks it would make life about a gazillion times easier but the other part isn't sure...

Grace Sofia was born on 22nd March weighing 6lb 4oz!

Emergency c-section due to late diagnosal of breech position so I got to 8cm before the spinal kicked in in theatre... Was found at 5cm on 2nd trip to hospital.

Will update properly when home! For now let's just say if I have another baby it will be straight to an epidural!

Feeding going well though and really enjoying it.

Congrats Claire, home you are home soon xx

Nappy wrapper- I actually have one from DS, a tomee tippee one, I'm trying to sell it. I had the same idea to put it in the nursery but found that very few nappies actually get changed there, after I while I just ended up changing him on a mat wherever I was at the time! I don't particularly want it in the living room so I'm just going to stick to nappy sacks, cheaper too as the cartridges to refill them are quite expensive.
