Hi Aqua, and welcome! Hope all goes well with your pregnancy - I'm also having more frequent appts because my son was born by emergency section, and it's quite reassuring. Now I'm past 30 weeks, I'm seeing the midwife fortnightly. And I have a scan at 35 weeks for position, too.

Unlurking to say baby Harry was born 21st march, nearly 2 weeks late, at 12:34, weighing in at 9lb 10oz xxx

The list is moving - if all March babies are born soon I will be in top 20!

I am slightly scared for tonight I have a baby shower organised - all my friends are coming and I am so nervous. I don't like 'big events' and wasn't planning of having one at all!

AquamarineMonkey - congratulations on 24 weeks and welcome 'offically' to the thread. I was here well before I should have been - mind you I think your welcome here anytime - just have to bare in mind conversation might be sweeps and membranes etc! I can see your on the list.

neverdespairgirl - I am hoping baby will co-operate. So that probably means I will give birth in the middle of the day and not at night lol :)

    Congratulations ladies and babies!

Think the bouncing has started to work as now when I half lie back you can see baby is all down the middle of my abdomen so I think she's sat a little frog like with her legs out to the sides - part of me thinks that means I should worry about her hips but the other part says not to cost they are so long!

Bf is currently tinkering away on his laptop making me a labour mix with all his music and DJ software :-) think this baby is going to be a dancer or musician or plain mad raver - when ever he turns his music on she starts bouncing away :-) nice to think they will have that to bond over. Need him to make some mellow/chilled mixes for her to listen to when he's away haha

Made a really rich, fudgey chocolate cake today with a set fudge icing and now cooking scampi and wedges :-)

The last two months I've finished up with loads more in my account than usual before pay day, think its because I've been almost obsessive about accounting for non direct debit payments etc. It means I've gone from having £100 left if I'm lucky to having almost four/five times that...not sure how as I feel like I've spent more :s not complaining mind as its meant I've managed to stash over £1000 in savings to fall back on should I need it during my leave! Just fascinated at how I might have managed it!

I think newborn babies often lie in a froggy-type way, up to a few months old. It seems to be comfortable for them.

This is DS aged a few days:

    Hi Everyone,

Firstly congratulations to Faith, Squirrel and Sidney and welcome to Aqua :-)

Well I have felt absolutely knackered this week and I'm so glad I only have 12 work days left! I go to bed and spend ages trying to get comfy then I drift off but get woken when I either need the loo or have to turn over which all happen 5/6 times a night :-(

I had my whooping cough jab this morning and it didn't really hurt at the time but as the day has gone on it's felt quite sore so I'm glad I'm not back at work until Monday.

    Hope everyone is doing ok

I appear to have demolished an entire box of Cheerios in 2 days...should I be worried??? My appetite is huge at the moment but I'm trying to be good and choose healthy things like a mini milk for pudding rather than an entire chocolate fudge cake which is actually what I want!

Am I right in thinking that weight gain is fastest between 20 and 30 weeks and slows down a bit after that? I hope so, I've out just under 2 stone on at just over 30 weeks!

Congrats to all the new mummies, the list is moving quickly! xxx
