Lush you should send your bf to live with me for a week. He'd realise how easy he has it with you and would be very grateful to go home lol!
Yeah perhaps that helps, I worked out I've put about 37% of my body weight on! So I think my legs are just not used to heaving this amount about!
God knows how much I would have put on if I hadn't been so ill at the start!
My DH hates getting dragged round the shops so when we go we tend to do our own bits then meet up. I tried on bras in m&s last time and spent about 10 mins trying 2 bras on working out to buy them or not and then deciding not. Luckily he had a chair to sit on..And I think the last time he won an argument was circa 20030 -
Anyone else feeling as if they might as well move in to the hospital?
I had a midwife's appointment 13 days ago, 1 today, consultant sickologist on Monday, Consultant's appt for discussion about vaginal birth after c-section next Friday, 3rd trimester scan on 1st April, midwife on 3rd April!
Apparently because I've had a previous section, I see the midwife every 2 weeks from 30 weeks onwards.
Junior was, today, head down, and 1/5th engaged, but as I'm slightly under 33 weeks, he could move in and out half a dozen times before I get to term....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Yup, we're date triplets! But you're the odd one out as me and Vicky are having girls!
Sam sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time, I failed one of the assignments on my course and its going to have a knock om effect meaning I can't sit my exams in june, which was the whole reason I signed up for it in the first place! Glad to hear you're meeting with a tutor, hopefully that will get you back on track
Congratulations faith, I'll go and check out your birth story! Xx0 -
I'm pretty sure I won't go into labour before either of you - I was induced at 40 + 3 last time, with absolutely no signs of going into labour, and my mother and grandmother didn't manage to go into labour before being well overdue with any of their babies. We don't do early, it appears!
I was due on 14th March, and born on 31st, for example....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
those of you with children already, what are you plans if you go into labour for them?
I was talking to my mother about it, and she's going to come and stay with Isaac in our flat, so that OH can come with me. So it'll be my hospital bag, OH's stuff, baby's stuff, and my mother'll need an emergency grab-when-in-labour bag too!
Isaac's anxious to see the baby as soon as he can after he's born, so my mother can bring him ASAP once everything's sorted out....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
We are doing something similar as DS is so excited/worried about having a sister and not being first to see her. It's very important to me and OH that he is first to see her.
My Mum is having DS so it will be a big rush to get that sorted whenever it may be.
DS was three weeks early but I know that is no indication that this baby will be early too. As long as she gets here safely she can come when ever she likes but I have to admit I am not keen on the idea of being induced.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Last time - I woke up in labour and we took DD1 to my sisters en route to the hospital...she was only just 2 so very portable! This time we will prob do a similar thing - wait for me to go into labour and see who is around to have them. All of our family live within a 10 minute drive so DH will drop them, then come back and get me - although as I only just made it to the hospital last time, perhaps that's not such a great idea!!!
The ideal has to be going into labour in the middle of the night and phoning my parents to come around here - the girls wake up and get told the news.... xx0 -
Thats what I hope for - DS going to bed and waking up to the news!3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

39wk mw appointment this afternoon - not even reached my due date and I'm already bored of waiting for baby! Had a fair few twinges/fairly mild-ish braxton hicks yesterday but it didn't develop in to anything
Going for another walk in to our town today (well I will be once my leggings are dried!), half a mile each way and doesn't take long at all, to pop to the market and to get some drinks/snack in to take to the hospital. We've pretty much cut fizzy drinks out of the house bar the odd can/500ml bottle as a treat as I drink squash and bf has moved on to flavoured waters so I think I will buy some on 3 for £1 as a 'treat' for the hospital. Will also get some juice cartons and snacks (mix of healthy ones and treats). I know I'll resent paying through the teeth for anything at the hospital so best to go over prepared I think!************************************

We will most likely call OH parents as they are 5mins away (mine are 1hr) and either drop him there or have them come here. My ideal would be my mum comes to us and stays with DS at our house but guess it will depend on time of the day etc....
I was 2 weeks early with DS as was my sister with her boys and my mum with us, so will be prepared from 36 weeks. Had mw yesterday 25+3 and got to hear his hb again it was very strong :-) asked if she measures me and she said they only start here at 28w now as at 25 it can still be below the graph. She has booked all my appts up until 40/40 arghhhhh.
Sophiasmum sorry to hear about the redundancy, but at least they are generous. Like you I will need to go back to work when baby is around 6 months.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
