Congratulations faith2009! You naughty queue jumper! :)

Sorry you're having a rubbish day Sam hopefully things might seem brighter in the morning? Definitely go back to your tutor and ask for more detail.

Congratulations faith2009 :) First one I've seen with a due date after mine. I suddenly feel nervous!

Sending a virtual hug Sam... It does sound like a lot of pressure to have all hit at the same time.

Having spent the past two days on and off catching up with 17 pages of the thread I'm going to have to try and keep up again now. Patchy Internet (no broadband) means its harder than normal. We've been in the new place for 10 days now... Getting used to living in a small town is strange after living in the centre of a city.

I've been working on my hospital bag today... Prompted by the chat a few days ago and the fact all our things are in the same location for the first time in a month. I seem to be much more organised for him than for me! There is lots on the list I'd use day to day so think I'll have to put it with a 'grab last minute list' assume this is normal?!
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

Congratulations faith2009 ... Now no more queue jumpers unless its me please hehe!

SamToby, definitely go back and ask for more support from your tutor regarding your uni work. Sorry everything seems to have come up at once, sadly life seems to like to work that way more often than not.

Lots of walking was done yestertday in the hope of encouraging bubs to think about making an appearance...it doesn't appear to have done anything :/ Wednesday plans; visit parents this morning (well mostly just dad as mum goes to work at about 8am so just under an hour after I get there!) phone interview for a studens masters project at ten, trip to the mothercare outlet after meeting bf at work ... oh and i need to take some of the rubbish out of the garden bin too otherwise the bin men won't take it tomorrow!

One of these days i might let myself relax ...or run out of energy/stop forcing myself to ke doing things.

  • Faith - Congratulations
Sam - sorry your day was so pants, hope today is brighter.
Lush - you need to find time to rest/chill as once that baba is here rest is a premium

Gaz - no experience of ABS but have you looked on fb to see if there are any support groups. Our first son was diagnosed at 20w scan with talipes and i found alot of support from a fb group of parents who had been through the same. A quick search found this

Robots glad jobcentre were supportive. I am in a similar position, made redundant 31/3 and i only work 15hrs eves and weekends so have figured no one is going to employ me for 8 wks on similar hours so have stopped stressing about it.
listening to hb def varies, we heard ours at 16w mw appt, but don't remember it being that early with my first.

Morning - hope you are feeling better today SamToby xx
    & huge congratulations Faith2009!!!

Must be something in the air - I got called into a meeting yesterday and told I was up for redundancy. Am seeing HR for an individual consultation today. Don't really know what to think - on one hand have been there ages and part of me wants to volunteer as going to be difficult going back on 4 days a week with 3 children! But - I do like my job.,,, hm. Going to see what is said today. So I had a rubbish nights sleep - worrying about it all.

Oh and phonecall from midwife my iron levels are 9.5 or something so got to take iron and repeat bloods in 2 weeks....

Gaz - Welcome to the boards. xxx

Sam I am so sorry to hear about your stresses and troubles. You really do have a lot on your plate. I was wondering if you possibly had any family members close by that might be able to help with cleaning a couple of hours once a week so that it isn't such a mammoth task for you and so you have a few extra hours to focus on some of the other things. Maybe in terms of your essay you could book a time with your tutor so they can go though how to improve it. I had to do this sometimes at uni because sometimes I think they are writing so many feedbacks that they just don't put enough details in. Hope you start feeling better soon xxx

Faith - congratulations on your little bundle of joy. xxx

Sophisamum - Sorry to hear about the redundancy stress. Not the thing you want hanging over you at all. I was told I had low iron levels the other week but went back to the midwife again this week and it seems I am all back to normal. The extra blood tests really are annoying.

Eiteews - I really need to start getting organised and prepare my hospital bag. I was nearly 3 weeks early so my mum is convinced there is only a matter of weeks to go.

I have got an aqua natal class today. Its been a couple of weeks since I have been due to lack of transport. But hubby has kindly said he will work from home this morning so that he can drop me off and pick me up. I can't believe how excited I am about going into the outside and socialising with other mummy's to be!!

In other news I am also now cooking for one instead of the usual two. Hubby saw a groupon offer for Diet Chef last week and it was all delivered yesterday. So today is the start of his Diet Chef experience. It means I have got to start to get a bit more organised on the meal planning front but on the plus side it is a great opportunity to get some bulk cooking done for when LO arrives.

32 weeks today!!! Can't believe there are only 8 weeks to go. When I first found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks this point seemed such a long time ago. Hitting the 30's feels like such a milestone xx

    Thank you everyone.

I have booked a tutorial on Friday with my tutor so I hope I can get some help.

Cleaning wise I am going to ask my OH to do some jobs at the weekend and put some stuff away so I have less to clean around!OH and DS dump stuff on the dining table at the time - shoes get left everywhere and the dishwasher needs to be loaded but instead all the plates get left on the side.

I go on maternity leave on the 9th April and its not far away so I think I will gradually go through stuff see if there is anything that can be thrown to give us some more space for things.

My baby has hick ups a lot.

    :)

I am only getting movement up under my ribs now which makes me feel that she definatly is head down. I have the midwife at 34 weeks and I am nearly 32 so I will know more then.

Final countdown is scary - it does seem to fly now
