Not surprised, Mary - you must have looked most enthusiastic in your child-bearing!

Lol! Well me and the hubby did really enjoy it, but I think if it was all the time I'd be tearing my hair out!

My mother reckons the first year or two of my brother's life are a bit of a blur in her memory - I'm the eldest, he's the youngest, and 4 of us were born in 7 years. So at one point she had a 7 year old, 5 year old, 1 year old and newborn. She thinks if she wasn't mad before that, she was afterwards lol.

Lol! That is a lot in a short space, are you all quite close to each other? I notice us lawyers are the only ones still up at this ridiculous hour! I didn't get home until half 11 and am gearing myself up to go to bed ready to do it all again tommorow! Are you still on your feet, or in chambers a bit more?

Yes, we all get on really well - not all lawyers, though. Sister #1 is a journalist, sister #2 is a chiropracter, and Bruv's a teacher.

I'm finishing off a set of emergency judicial review grounds with removal directions for tomorrow, hence the urgency.

I'm in court a bit less than before, and not going far out of London now. You?

A JR eh? That sounds interesting! I 've threatened a local authority with one once, but never actually issued! I'm pretty much office bound but mega busy, I occassionally get let out to do some clerking or attending social services meetings but mainly sat on my (ever widening!) derriere!

Ndg I've just noticed your post count! Better post again to make it a nice round number :) good luck with the hearing xxxx

I do quite a lot of JR - I draft a set of grounds once a week or so. It's interesting work, but most of mine is emergency stuff, hence the hours!

  • Hi ladies, so I seem to be experiencing an unpleasant pregnancy side effect... Night sweats. Nice (<very sarcastic tone!)

I've had a few over the last few months, but Always with a bad or scary dream... But last night I was dreaming about being in primary school and going on a coach trip - not scary at all! It was so bad it woke me up, My back & legs were dripping and for a horrid moment I wondered if my waters had broken!

Has anyone else had this? Is there anything I can do about it? The internet said don't have sheets/blankets on the bed but if I didn't I'd never get to sleep and husband wouldn't be happy!

    Good morning ladies,

Not feeling too great today. Had a terrible nights sleep last night so I am ridiculously tired not helped by the fact that DH turned the heating on before he left for work. Roll on an hour later when I was getting up and the house was roasting hot leaving me feeling a little faint. I can't seem to handle any type of heat at the moment. Poor DH can be sat there shivering and I will still be boiling hot. Luckily I am waiting in for a delivery (which annoyingly could be here anytime between 8am and 6pm grrrr) so I am going to have a sofa day and watch Grimm on Netflix. Was going to get some washing done as the weather is so nice but that can wait for tomorrow I think xxx

Funny you say that Robots, I have had them two nights this week. I just wake up feeling so yucky I have to jump straight in the shower. I wonder what causes them?
