Lush how do you do it?!
If I put weed sheet down I think id get stuck on the grass :rotfl:
I'm not sure if you're super human or if I'm just unfit/in pain from SPD/generally my bump is weighing me down?
I really have to avoid doing anything on the floor now as it's a real wretch to get up!
I'm thinking maybe you're super womanas I remember at an nct group this lady was showing us baby massage & said if we wanted we could sit on the mat and we all declined and stayed on the chairs and my friend said god you'd need a winch to get me back up again if I sat there! And she's a pe teacher!
DH has started storing pans on our work top as just bending down to get them out the cupboards is hard for me!
I might make brownies tomorrow now you've said that, I've got a kids recipe that works really well and us so easy to make! Someone else mentioned them earlier so I've got them on the brain now!
Sunshine I had bad legs cramps too at that stage. Luckily seem to have gone now.
What a pain sophiasmum although sounds like you should be ok.0 -

Joining the "no energy" crowd! DS is in bed, OH has some work to do, and I can't be bothered to do anything apart from go to sleep. Hope we all feel more bouncy tomorrow!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
sunshine81 wrote: »Definitely Firey... I'm 27+3 and for the last week tiredness has come back with a vengeance, just like the pre-12 week days! I fell asleep at 8pm yesterday! I've had to change my shifts at work as the 12 hour days were too much, just getting too tired and my ankles and legs start swelling up, most of my job is on my feet.
Constipation and leg cramps at night have set in now too... and I've lost the ability to change position in bed without waking myself up...nice(!)
ah I'm glad it's not just me! I'm still on occasional 12 hour shifts, I do find them hard, but this week is the first week iv done 5 days in a row for ages (8 hour days) and I'm not sure if it's easier working longer days, as at least I get more days off! if that makes any sense!
sophiasmum sorry to hear about your redundancy0 -

Haha! I am far from a superwoman! I think it may just be because even though I'm carrying extra weight I'm still not as heavy as I was pre-SW (lost about 5st a little while back) so my body has just adapted and I've always had a lot of energy/drive -I used to get called Energiser as when others ran out of steam I just kept going!
That and I know bf is in constant pain and most of our families have it harder than me (i.e. my mum's had breast cancer and has angina, my dad needs a kidney transplant and has had a heart attack, bf's mum has had cancer etc) so I figure I'd be complaining about something pretty insignificant as millions of woman have carried babies and given birth for millions of years!
That said...I have had a slight rant on the Facebook group this morning as bf and I have had a falling out and he is acting like a six year old! It's not like I'm asking for the world - just a bit of consideration would have been nice as I'd been awake since 4am, done loads with my dad, did a phone interview that bf nominated me for (for a student's masters project), then walked round a retail park with bf (but only in shops he wanted/looking at things he wanted as he huffs like a child if I try to do my bits at the same time - oh no wait, he disappeared off for 5 mins and left me to quickly get measured for nursing bras) and my back was aching...then when we got back we were in the garden!
OK so I do rant about things sometimes...sorry Claire/everyone
Going to clean the house, and make it to his wishes, then maybe lay the rest of the weed sheet whilst he's out at work/S&C to make peace...it won't really make a point as he'll have got his way again but I'd rather just give in and let him win...I gave up winning ages ago!************************************

I don't think so! More out to make life easier for everyone! Plus after about an hour of maternity leave I was already starting to get bored
Plus side of the bungalow being rather small is I've cleaned top to bottom (including the inside of the windows) and done the whites and got them drying in two hours!
Not sure what to do next; my 'to do' list for before baby arrives only has three things on;
* make cot bed skirt (basically just cut and hem fabric then fit)
* finally find a home for all my clutter at the end if the bed
* move the Moses basket in to our room
Other 'would be nice to get done' list:
* finish getting the weed sheet down in the garden
* actually put away all the paperwork in their correct files rather than just hidden away in a bag to do later!
...actually that might be all there is :S
I may treat myself to a smoothie now then a shower before I decide what to do next
Hope everyone is having a reasonably ache/ailment free day************************************

Huge congrats Faith!!! :j Hope you and the little one are getting on well x
Sophiasmum I am so sorry to hear about your redundancy, you must be feeling a bit strange about it. That seems very soon to process everything. It's good to know that your company is not too stingy. Thinking of you, though.
Sam big hugs too, it sounds like you have mammoth amounts on! Glad to hear you've got your OH on board with some things. Hope your tutor can be a bit more specific in your next meeting. Sometimes it's more about tweaking things than re-doing them.
Lush, hope your OH has packed in his diva behaviour, hehe. Sorry to hear your family have been through such a lot. But that doesn't mean you can't take a nice rest as well.
Things okay here, got some non-underwired bras and they are so comfy. Should have sorted that out ages ago. The bra lady persuaded me up 2 back sizes though I'm not sure that's right as there's a funny fold at the bottom of the cup when I sit down now. But she insisted that room for growth was needed! So we shall see.
Firey I've also been knackered for a few weeks now, like being back in the first trimester. Also suffering leg cramps, it's not fair waking up in the middle of the night with them!!!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hi girls,
Thankyou for all the kind messages! We are both doing really well, but I can't quite believe that we made such a perfect baby. I couldn't have imagined how amazing it feels and how much I could love someone
I have posted my rather boring birth story here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1714725
So excited to hear the next birth announcements. Come on babies!!x
