  • Hello
I just wanted to pop this in here as a bit of advance warning!

I'm moving house in the next fortnight and have a week off work from the 13th Aug... as I am moving my internet access that week will be limited at best (my boyfriend says we probably won't set our new broadband up for a month or so  wink.gif ) so I may take a little longer to answer queries etc.

So just to let you know I haven't abandoned the board at all (I like it here) and will be back with avengance the week of the 20th Aug.

Please keep your questions and comments coming - I'll do my best ot answer them as quickly as I can!!

    Becca

    PS - I hate boxes!!
  • Just a brief reminder that as of 5 pm today I shall be out of the office and off of the internet *gibber*.
Please keep your questions coming though...

I'm a very lucky girl and have 2 weeks off from today so won't be around as much, I'm sure I'll pop in anyway, but if i don't reply straight away, don't worry, I am still here to help.

Please keep your questions coming, thank you so much for making me so welcome.
All the best, for christmas and the new year

Hi Becca. Once again, I have not received my PAYD bill for December.I know they're normally posted on the 25th and it was Christmas post and all that, but it's now 6th January and my payment leaves my bank on 10 January. Would you like me to PM you my Policy Number?

I dont know if it helps, but I got mail from NU yesterday that was dated 24th Dec. I also got a few bits from others posted before that. Xmas post doesnt appear to have caught up fully yet.

I thought your PAYD was a really good idea for my (learner) son, then I see that you need to be 18. Why is this? I would have thought most young 'uns get their first car sometime between their 17th and 18th birthday, so the only way to PAYD is to go with another insurer first for less than a year - but that doesn't work because part year insurance is difficult to arrange and you would lose months building up towards your NCD.

    Any plans to change this?
