Lilmiss, when you count the chairs what if there's not enough? He he. Sorry I could not resist.

Thanks for the headache info. My friend had pre-e but did not explain what actually happened to her.

It must be exciting to feel the flutter.

AFM I'm itching like crazy. The bio oil does not seem to help. And the bloating! The last 2 days I've probably personally contributed to an increase in global temperatures of 1 degrees C.

    MFiT3 #86: Reduce mortgage from £146,800 to £125,000

  • I will count them again! :rotfl:As we have just moved, my mum's given us her old table and chairs (8) and we have not yet sold mine (4) - I am just not sure where in the house my 4 are and whether we have taken them apart to flat pack etc! It's in such a state they can be behind sofas, on top of wardrobes, in the eaves, who knows!

Ok - I have only hidden the mess under the dressing table from the list but also wiped surfaces in the bathroom and tidied the bedroom which included finishing unpacking my clothes! Kept thinking - wonder if I'll fit in that this year? Wonder if I'll ever fit in some of these things again?

Oooh, exciting about your US trip Daisiegg.

Peonie - you are not alone in your unintentional damage to the Ozone I assure you!

Have also informed DH having gone through some of his things that he will end up an old man with newspaper up to the ceiling if I die first. I have recycled (he only begrudgingly agreed) the Christmas cards we got from other people.

Right time for a rest and now the lodger is awake have no excuse not to start banging around in the kitchen.

Also having been nauseous but not actually sick, can anyone tell me why I threw my guts up on Friday at 12+4?! Grrr.

Because it stopping at 12 weeks is actually a myth!

Still nausea and puking at 32+1 ;)

    Hi everyone!
Hope we are all doing well considering sickness & tiredness etc!
I bought second hand nursery furniture about 10 days ago & in tesco today I bought box of new born pampers! Scary & exciting lol!
The aim is to get plenty of nappies in so I don't need to buy any for the first few months!
I went pram shopping last weekend with my mum so since I had my 20w scan on Wednesday there, I feel ready to buy 'stuff' so going next Saturday to order pram etc.
might order the mattress for the cradle then too.

Does anyone else worry about how much this all costs & the income change of you get stat maternity pay? Don't get me wrong this baby has been 2 years in the making almost so I knew to start saving but just worried about how we will get by when I'm earning 50% less than I am now!

Also if anyone is doing the lists I'm team yellow - by choice! I had my scan 2/4/14
  • Have people stopped taking folic acid? Just realised I don't think I need to but wanted to ask others. I'm 12+5

  • I have been, and still am, taking a pregnancy multi vitamin which includes folic acid, and am planning on taking it all the way through.

Oh also, my apps today say now I need to stop sleeping on my back. It still seems early to worry about that...what is everyone else doing? I always sleep on my back, it will be really hard to stop! :(
I know what you mean however have learnt to sleep on my side using a spare pillow! As sleeping on my back leads me to being kicked and getting dizzy as baby presses on nerves!

I don't think it can be called BDing anymore, bit late for that ;):D we do too, it is my favourite so I want to make sure we do as much of it while we still can :o

I just had to go into town and everywhere I looked there seemed to be pregnant ladies. Beautiful, blooming pregnant ladies with gorgeous bumps. And when I caught sight of myself in the reflection in a shop window I just look fat, lumpy, spotty, and horrible :( I wish I had lost more weight before falling pregnant so I could look lovely with a lovely bump. As it is I know I am just going to look like a ball. A fat, lumpy, non-pregnant, ate-all-the-pies ball :(

Ok, pity party over...! Sorry! :o

I think we all feel like that at times! I know I do! big hug and I'm sure you look lovely really.
