Am on day 7 of work and on-call. Feel utterly broken now! Can't wait for 8am tomorrow as then I'm officially off for a week!
We're going to start painting this week I think as the builders are slowly moving on from our bedroom which will give us the space to do it! Just need someone to come and finish my data analysis and I'd be well happy. lol. Hope you're all ok. x

Oh peonie hugs for the sickness, mine came and went a bit when I was about where you are and it was really frustrating as you think you've got rid of it then it comes back and hits you x
I'm sure the weight loss is nothing to worry about t2d but I hope you're starting to feel better x
Ouch TCOD work really sucks sometimes doesn't it! Nearly over though so I hope you enjoy your week off x
Glad your day went well lilmissreading and your hard work paid off x
DH has been so lovely and helpful over the past few days as I've been having some dizzy spells and feeling a bit weary, we're both super excited about tomorrow when we can find out whether we're team pink or blue! I can't wait for DH to see them again as he has had to miss both my NHS scans (stupid work grr) but as he's a teacher we have a lovely week off together now and our wedding anniversary is on Friday yay!
Also I didn't think I was craving anything but I've just realised I'm craving beer what the heck! I am not a drinker at all but I've been enjoying a nice cold bottle of becks blue in the evening and its wonderful. Thank goodness for non alcoholic lager eh
hugs to all

Good luck for scan tomorrow Purcy and fingers crossed baby is not feeling shy for you!
Had a quick look at prams today as we were in town, hubby wants an icandy!!! Not very mse...!Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
There is far too much choice for prams- it is mindblowing! After two weekends in various shops and extensive internet research we ended up with a Britax B-motion 3 in black, which we bought from a local independent shop (who I have to say were most unhelpful), with the Britax baby-safe sleeper for the first 6 months- my family are over an hours drive away and OH's family much further, so we liked the idea of the lie-flat car carrier. We will swap to a sitting up one at 6 months. I think we spent just under £390, which honestly was £100 more than we wanted to spend, but we wanted something that will last, and be good for off road walks.0

I'm overwhelmed by the choice of mat clothes online let alone prams...
Good luck today purcy. I woke up this morning exhausted and with a headache that started yesterday and won't go away. Feel dizzy when I move.
TCOD - respect. I have realised I can manage 4 days of 9 hour working and then I start hitting problems
t2d - it must be tricky to know what might be pg (tired, not hungry) and what's recovery from surgery (tired. not hungry). Do you have a check up with someone soon?
Peonie - hope you get better soon :grouphug:Met DH to be 2010
Moved in and engaged 2011
Married 2012
Bought a house 2013
Expecting our first 2014 :T0 -
Wow. I've just weighted myself and I've lost 3kg this week. That's a bit worrying isn't it. I have had two days of no food at all ( surgery and day after) and then struggled to eat more than a few mouthfuls at a time due to painkillers I think.
Never thought I'd worry about losing weight! I'm feeling so not pregnant at the moment I hope everything is ok. It's like at the start when I would welcome a bout of nausea!
I hope you feel better soon and get everything sorted:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -

have a feeling i'll be making myself some dresses to wear for work during summer when i'll be at my largest.
we started tackling my current craft room soon to be nursery - all we've done are the random bags of stuff, OH has a habit of 'tidying up' into carriers then they get shoved in that room. So far we have 1 bag rubbish, 1 bag charity and 2 bags recycling. the room doesn't really look that much differentbut I know by counting bags that we've made some progress. Just don't know where to put my crafting stuff, don't want it in the loft cos i'll never see it again, but it has to go somewhere, plus once little sausage is with us i'll have loads of piccies to start scrapbooking with.
had to have a chat with OH about what he keeps saying we can leave in the nursery for the baby and pointed out once the cot, wardrobe, dresser and rocking chair and possibly the shelving unit are in there, there will be absolutely no more space, think he may have 'got' that for a while, just hope it sticks
with regards prams we went for a travel system oyster which includes cosy toes, carrycot, pushchair bit, raincover, insect cover and britax car seat for £460. Can't get over how expensive things are!!!!!!:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -
Hi ladies,
Checking in from Boston!
Just wondering if any of you have the Emily Oster pregnancy book? I know it was someone on here who recommended it.
Hubby and I were reading the chapter on fish before leaving for holiday because here there is LOTS of seafood...in that chapter she has a handy little chart that shows which fish you can have because they have low mercury and high omega 3s, and which to avoid as they have high mercury and not enough omega 3 to make it worthwhile.
I meant to take a picture of the chart on my phone but completely forgot...
Wondering if anyone who has the book might have a moment to either snap a pic for me or just tell me a couple of the types of fish she says are definitely ok to eat? I have complete baby brain and literally can't remember at all. Probably eating sea food quite a few times on this holiday so I don't want to make a mistake!
I would appreciate it so much if anyone can - will post this on the other two pregnancy threads too in case there is anyone there!
Hope you are all well and have a good week0 -
