Had a growth scan yesterday (28 week scan, but I was 28+6!). Still team yellow due to a rude technician. The consultant did help us by writing in my notes for them to definitely scan for and tell us the gender if at all possible at our next growth scan (5th Jan, 32 weeks). Baby is perfect and on the 50th centile line and is completely adorable! It's got a fat little belly, but still on the graph, so they aren't worried about it.0

How lovely Mrs_T_M, really pleased for you
My baby also has a little chubby belly, it was the only measurement that was over the 50th centile but still within the 90th and sonographer didn't even mention it so not worried. I think fat babies are cuter anyways
Welcome to the newbies! :hello:
I've had a really busy week hence the lack of posts, apologies! OH was desperate to get the tree up so that went up last night, I forgot how long it takes! We've put the lights on but no baubles yet, that will be another evening I think! I seem to be more tired in the evenings recently, probably again because of a busy weekend, so it will be an early on for me. Also I've noticed I'm second on the list  time is just flying!!!0 -

I think most babies when born are just head and belly mostly anyway. :rotfl:The femur length on ours is a bit short, but it has long legs like DH. I think the head and belly it gets from me.

Just had our repeat scan to get the rest of the measurements. Everything is fine and "normal" - hooray!!! :j
Baby weighs 1lb
Baby is all squished over on my right hand side which is quite amusing ! (My bump doesn't look un-even though!)

Pleased everything is ok Aunty-Pickle
Just a quick one from me, but felt I had to come on and share that I can now see my belly moving when baby kicks!!I was just sat there mesmerised by it, so weird to think the little human inside me is doing that!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well today and not suffering too much heartburn! I haven't been around much as I spilt tea over my laptop and had to get it fixed.
Only 2 more weeks of work. By that I mean two more evenings of work, since I only work Thurs evenings in a takeaway, but they've asked me to leave because it's not safe for me to work there due to a risk of slipping on the floor. I understand that, because the kitchen floor is incredibly slippy when wet but it's a hazard for anyone, pregnant or not surely? And somehow it's okay for me to take that risk for two more weeks until my replacement can start.
20 week scan went well, despite almost getting to hospital before realising I'd forgotten my notes and hand to go back for them, ended up quite late but just in time to get a quick scan anyway! We are staying team yellowDo you normally get seen by a MW at the same appointment as the scan? I didn't see anyone, there was no mention of seeing a MW while I was there, so that'll be 10 weeks between MW appointments!

Glad scans went well Aunty - Pickle and MRS_T_M.
Gaylee no the normal midwife appointments are 16 and 24/25 weeks for
first time mums I think . I shouldn't have a 24 week one but am seeing a consultant at that one about my previous c section.0 -

I believe that's correct. Midwife appointments are at 16 weeks and then at 25 weeks. I was only looking on this website yesterday as I was booking myself in for my next 25 week appointment. (booked for 22nd)

After the 25 week one it looks like we have appointments every 3 weeks, then every 2 weeks. So many more midwife checks to go!0 -
