Hope scan went ahead Milly.

Georgie - you are definitely not alone. I am bad and do no ironing, OH will occasionally iron shirts if he is going out etc.

I really needed to do some housework this weekend but ended up just doing the basics washing etc.

Is hard work looking after a toddler and being pregnant so don't beat yourself up.

I don't iron anything and no one has ever told me I look creased! I would do shirts if I wore them but that's about it. Wash, shake out the creases and hang to dry (or tumble). Life is too short to worry about ironing if you're short on time to do it x

I don't iron anything either. I don't know how I'd find the time if I had to!

My 3 year old once asked me what an iron was :rotfl:.

Aw thanks everyone - I feel much better today. To be honest I dont do a lot of ironing. DS wears a nursery sweatshirt to nursery (when I can get it on him) and the nursery manager laughed when he came in (good naturedly she's not mean) and said "aw didn't you have time to iron"?:mad:
Everyone had a bad morning this morning - DH is stressed dealing with surveyors and mortgages as we are in the middle of buying a selling a house and he's just been made a director at his company which means more money but also more stress. DS had a meltdown because "I want the dark light back on" and "I don't want to go to nursery I want a doughnut" - dont we all love!

Hope everyone else is okay with scans etc. Did the strike affect anyone yesterday?

Hey Guys,

Im also in the "do no ironing" club. My husband does his shirts when he needs one, which is like once a month.

Scan went ahead and everything is as it should be. We didn't get as nice selection of photos as 12 week scan. the lady only took 1 of whole baby so we have a lot of photos of feet, heart, bladder, spine etc.

Its a shame but oh well. Photos will probably only be seen by mine and my OH parents and then get stuck in a draw anyway.

I was at the hospital for 3 hours though as I had a Consultant appointment straight after. He has upped my thyroid tablets and putting me on aspirin because I have an elevated risk of pre-eclampsia with my sister and Grandmother having it.

I had to then stick around for another hour so someone could take some blood.

We are still TEAM YELLOW - she told us to look away while she had a check, which we did.

Next appointment with consultant - 5th January!

It's nice to have a surprise Milly - we did with DS1 (although I was convinced he was a boy. I really want to find out this time (DH doesn't) - I really would like a little girl - I know you dont get to choose but....
