I think we are finding out with number 2 Jedi, would love to keep it a surprise but it be organised I think we will. Ds was prem so we were caught by surprise and we don't really have any gender neutral stuff as we hadn't bought much and OH ended up buying everything blue in tiny baby he could find!! All of ds' clothes are in muddled bags in the garage too so it's not as if I can go and just grab the newborn stuff, i'd have to go through it all. I'm really not very organised at all!!

Congrats on joining Team Pink! I'm in Nottingham too; I wonder if it's either the place I had my first private scan (which I'd recommend) or the place I'm. booked for my 4D scan (which I'm hoping I'll recommend!).

Sorry-not been about much, but I have been keeping up. My mental health diagnoses have flared up a hot, so I've been a bit of a recluse.

Hope everyone is ok-sorry to hear you have to have the op, Aunty pickle; hopefully you can focus on the exciting positives once it's behind you?

Congrats to all scan peeps, and hugs to those in need.

We have our scan in the morning, and then the consultant appointments, so totally terrified-had dream that the scan woman was horrid, and wouldn't show or tell me anything, so it's obvs playing on my mind a bit

Getting a few flickers and kicks I think-such a strange feeling, isn't it?!

Hi all, I feel like I've been away for ages! Came back from holiday at the weekend and its just manic getting back into the swing of things. I've read through the past posts but there are a lot so I apologise for the lack of personal messages, I'll get back into it soon I promise

I seem to be getting a bit more of a bump now, although if I change my posture a bit and hold my belly in I can still disguise it at work, I just look like I've put on a bit of weight. If I allow myself to sit normally or don't hold myself in (which is difficult as I think I naturally do this!) then there is definitely a bump there, and its starting to round out at the bottom... can't wait til the muffin top goes! I hope it will go!?

As for movements a few of you have been mentioning, I *think* I'm feeling movements but I can't be sure! It's in the right place, tends to be on the right but I've also felt it on the right although less frequently, and then when I've pressed my hand down to see if I can feel it by touch it stops! It's so strange as you don't know if it is or isn't, but I'm having a private reassurance scan thi evening so I'm hoping that I get a feeling whilst also seeing baby moving on the screen so I'll be able to tell. 18 weeks today :eek: It's going so fast!

Anyways, this was just a quick hello and update as I'm at work but thought I best drop by, I'll pop back later after the scan and let you know how things are Hope the rest of you are all well and taking care of yourselves x

Hope you had a lovely holiday missy. You'll see so much on your scan later, the difference as baby starts to get bigger is amazing. Are you planning on finding out if it's a girl or boy?

I *think* i've been feeling some movement for about a week. Feels a bit like when you drive over a hill & your tummy drops, but it's so quick, by the time I feel it its stopped, I'm sure in the coming weeks it will get much more obvious what is going on in there!

Sooooo..... scan was amazing!! Princess you were right, the detail of everything from it's heart beating to tiny little fingers and toes was brilliant to see, as is how much its grown in the short time. It was definitely worth the £59 for the reassurance about my potential over-doing it, plus my wish was granted - I felt a similar feeling to what I've been wondering was movement just as baby gave a big kick on the screen I can't help but smile now each time I've been feeling it this evening. We are still team yellow and are planning to stay that way. I really want the surprise of them announcing what it is after giving birth, plus I'm hoping it will give me something to look forward to and help get me through labour!
