  • Welcome Phoenix - I've added you to the list - hope that's ok!

Bubblepops - how scary! Glad everything is ok though.

AFM, can't believe a week ago I was still waiting for the op! I am now able to get out of bed by myself, get dressed (so long as clothes are easily reachable!), get to the toilet by myself (!) and get downstairs by myself - albeit very slowly!!!!

My OH is being wonderful and making me lunch before he goes to work etc so I have come downstairs this morning to a plate of sandwiches and a piece of cake and bottles of water!!!!! The only problem is not eating it all before 10.30am!

I was supposed to see the midwife last week but obviously that didn't happen so she said she would phone me today to arrange to come and see me at home. I'm also kind of wondering about my 20 week scan which is next week - not sure if the wound will cope with it. I might phone the clinic and ask - don't want to have to travel all that way to be told they can't check baby properly.

Hope everyone else is ok and babies doing well etc. Hugs all round!! (well, "air hugs" from me!)

  • Glad recovery is going well and what a lovely OH looking after you so well!
  • Aww, AP-I'm so glad you're feeling so much better, and that OH is looking after you so well!!

Btw-well done on not eating it all for 'elevenses' ;)

Great to read everyone's updates; terrifying that I am now top of the list! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!

:rotfl: I had to explain the significance of this to my OH last night when I squealed and said 'what do you mean second from the top?!?!'

Caution: rant approaching: ya know, if you were delivering a huge, clearly labelled mamas and papas delivery to an evidently pregnant woman, and you knew just how heavy it was, would you leave it outside the front door, not even offer to help them through the front door, and then glare at them, daring them to say something??

    Urgh, chivalry is, indeed dead

  • Well, just had 20 week scan. Both babies are perfect and really active so surprised I can't feel anything but at least I know they are ok. Both within normal range of sizes.

And we are team pink!! Bit surprised as was sure at least one was a boy.

So now it's onto the fun part of buying everything.

Bubblepops, I can't believe they did that!

Carrot, congrats on your double pinkage! Snap :)

Do you think you'll DNA test after they're born to find out if they're identical? We are thinking we will, unless they are really obviously different.
  • woohoo! Congrats Carrot, so pleased everything looks ok - and more Team Pink!

  • Wow, Carrot, how exciting! Us pinks are definitely taking over!! :D

Are you going off on a huge spree now?

Does it all feel so much more real now that you know their genders? Or is that just me? :o

Yep, pington, it was right by the gate  T0ssa

OH just got home, so I made him drag it all into the room, and we unpacked everything to make sure all was ok, and nothing was missing, and we just looked round the room, and were both like 'hhhhmmm...sh!z just got REAL!!!' :rotfl:
