Just want to say, and I'm not a soppy person, I blame the hormones! how nice it is to be able to chat to folk going through the same thing at almost the same time. Feel lucky to have, give and see such a high level of support with basically people I don't know. Mse is a lifesaver for so many reasons.

ok, cough, back to usual transmission
  • Eeeek, my last day on here as will be 24 weeks tomorrow ! Mrs C your day at the top begins tomorrow.

The activity continues. Having been out to see a friend and got back at 7pm via the supermarket.

    Today:

    Reorganised pantry
    Unpacked shopping
Made up lunchs for mon to weds
    Made fruit salad
Put bread in breadmaker for first time
    Swept floor
    Watered plants
    Emptied and filled dishwasher
    Wiped surfaces

Ah view, you :o shucks. Glad all was well at 16 weeks. I don't know about the protein specifically but believe someone else (Daisiegg) said that there are higher levels in our urine at this time.

TOFT and RMR - how miserable. Lucky for me I only get asthma with animal allergies so easy to avoid.

Alioops - I really feel for you. Definitely go to the doctor - what if you have a chest infection too? Was SO close to ringing in sick last week over the hayfever. Know you have the vapour rub but when I have a cold DH bought a humidifier. It does seem to make it easier to breathe.

    :rotfl: Isaac, there's a new one :p

Monty-doggy - dreams are rarely actual but more normally representational. What i mean by this is perhaps your dog represents a vulnerable, special one who you care for and look after, plus brings you much pleasure. If that doesn't fit with much of what a baby is I don't know what does! Therefore your dog is representing all people who could fit this category :D ps don't people often refer to pets as substitute children?

Awww View I feel exactly the same way. There's nowhere else that I go on every day to chat on.

Well I've bought the Prevalin and that seems to have done the trick so far and also a calpol plug in thingy which the chemist said was a good idea. Fingers crossed I'll be able to sleep better tonight as if I wasn't pregnant I would be dosing myself with diazepam and co-codamol.

Lil miss that's a lovely way of looking at it ;) yes he is my substitute baby, or was!

We've has a glorious day at the beach, I'm exhausted.

This is my puppy off the lead for the first time, before he realised the sea isn't as scary as he thought......

now that looks like a happy dog, feel my furbaby looks more like the second picture, though she's supposed to be a white Westie she's more cream in colour, or quite often dirt coloured when she's been digging.

Lol he's always whiter than white. Even when I think he needs a bath people comment on how white he is! He is a westie bichon frise cross. And spoilt rotten!
  • Aw cuteness monty-doggy! no wonder your subconscious would have your dog and a baby in the same emotional box!

My bread turned out well! And I've virtually finished sorting the under stairs cupboard. SPoke to DH on the phone who kept saying - leave it to me - I say I have darling - is there an expiry date on your offer? It's been months so far...guilty snicker from him. :rotfl:
