Love the doggy! What an absolutely gorgeous wee thing. Glad you had a good day out yesterday.
Hope the hay fever and other various ailments have settled down ladies.
Phoned hospital yesterday to get results of the +protein sample text and receptionist just said 'nothing'... er, nothing what! "Nothing to be found".. sometimes I wish they would not presume I know what the heck they're on about! Glad I don't have an infection however... have had UTI's in the past and ouchy ouchy owww owww
I 'turned' 19 weeks on Saturday and although feel knackered, don't feel preggers at all anymore! I know this is something that "they" say happens around this time... waiting for the first kick... you may recall I mentioned I had felt many a flutter inside (only on the left side) however midwifey said that will just be my digestive system most likely...
I'm going to take a photo of my tummy today and then one in exactly a month... just to convince myself it's actually happening!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I met a friend and her 9 month old and we rolled around a beautiful park for hours... bliss ....and then needed a lie down of course, what has my life turned into! :rotfl:0 -
Hi All
Well I'm happy to report that I actually got some sleep last night although I did wake up a couple of times I was soon back to sleep after a loo trip and blowing my nose. Seems like the plug in and nasal spray have worked so far, fingers crossed that it continues.
View - I'm feeling 'wiggles' underneath my belly button towards the bottom of my belly if that makes sense. Still waiting to feel punches and kicks. DH said that he's felt her and also could feel her heartbeat the other day but I think he might be mistaken.
I asked DH to take a picture of my 'bump' and he didn't even bother to sit up to do it so it's quite a shoddy one. Might have to harass him into taking another one but properly and maybe do it every weekend on a Sunday as the day I move a week on.

Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying the sunshine and those suffering with hay fever are not too bad. I've been exhausted after all that sea air yesterday, I walked the dog for an hour and a half this morning, came home and had a two hour nap! I woke up so hungry and went to McDonald's before going to the bank. Now I feel utterly stuffed! Ah well.
I've nothing planned this week other than housework, I've no idea how my house gets such a tip. I feel like all I ever do is clean and tidy and do washing, that's before I've got a baby living here!!!0 -
Ali- he's probably feeling your placenta pulsing. My OH can feel that and I can see my stomach pulsing with it now (28 weeks), easy way of telling is for him to feel the pulse he's feeling in your tummy at the same time as feeling your wrist pulse- if it's the same then it's placenta.
OH started to feel movements properly about 22/ 23 weeks but I was a size 16 pre-pregnancy so there's a bit of padding on my tummy.
View- all my movements have been on right side due to shape of my uterus. You could still be feeling baby.when I first started feeling movements they felt like someone popping bubblegum quite low down on my right side. Easiest way of finding out if it's baby or digestive though is to *ahem* try and pass wind.

that's lovely ! my wiggles have stopped... I used to feel them after a cold drink or chocolate, and they were very obvious. part of the reason I made a trip to MW last Friday was to check everything was ok.. it was like a switch was turned off. All I can say is thank goodness 1. they're used to probably panicky gals 2. modern technology can find heart beats.... funny how it's completely stopped tho, but not worrying not worrying la la laaaaaaa. Was told it was digestive anyway as was on left side, where the massively long digestive tract is apparently (everyday's a school day) :rotfl:
OH thought he felt heartbeat but after doing a little reading, it was probably his pulse in his hand, although it might be the wee one's heartbeat you just never know, hope so!
How's everyone's appetite just now? Monty you so made me want a whopper! Stopped Maccy D's tho and burger K is too far away... ahh well, I'll have another glass of water that'll be fine I'm sure.... NOT!
EDIT - sorry, just realised I've repeated myself a few times about the flutters, feel free to completely ignore me, being a dafty!0 -

Thanks TCOD I was a 16 too when I got pregnant so with you on the extra padding. I'll have to get him to check again as I've been told that I have a low lying placenta so god knows what he was feeling :rotfl:.
View my appetite is back to normal now, no longer needing to eat urgently to stop being sick and don't need to stuff my face with being constantly hungry. Mmmmm Burger King or as I know it Hungry Jacks, think I might have to suggest it to hubby now. I'll just say it's a craving and he'll have to give in:rotfl: or Macdonalds either way burger's it is tonight.

Haha sorry I just couldn't help myself today. I needed the junk food. After I delivered a crappy low fat egg mayo on flat bread sandwich and an apple to my oh at work for his lunch!
He's on a diet.
