Daisie - I feel the same. Nobody warns you about all the different possible symptoms of pregnancy. I've been quite surprised by some of mine. E.g. Itching, bloating and hair growth all over the body!
Re: the nipple discussion. Mine have gone very strange indeed. Different colours, bigger, boobs VERY vein-ey. Hoping it's all just normal.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Oh yeah forgot to say that one of the reasons I suspected I was pregnant was cos my nipples have been at attention since I conceived lol.
Daisiegg glad that you're okay now and don't worry about being all moany. We're all going through this together so what better place especially as the movies lie to us about the glamour of being pregnant.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Loveactually as soon as you tell your employer they should do a risk assessment which will be better for you and baby. For that reason I'd tell them as soon as you feel ready.
I'm using bio oil and I've no stretch marks as yet. I thought I had one on boobs but it was a scratch. I've had stretch marks before, mostly in my teens as I gained weight but so far so good although I'm under no illusion I'll look like Freddie Kruger has had a good go at me by the end!
Daisiegg I'm glad you are feeling better, sleep is probably the best thing you could have done.
For those of you with a super drug nearby, they are discontinuing Huggies nappies and selling them off in store at 65p a pack. It's on hot uk deals.0 -
Daisiegg sometimes I get bored of my own moaniness. I think millions of women do this every day and under far worse conditions than me. But until the little guy is here and safe I feel worried this will be for nothing.
RMR I am 22 weeks and for about a fortnight now have changed skin pigmentation on my belly - unevenly of course. Varicose veins are maing an appearance. I suspect my breasts are actually turning into two wheels of blue veined cheese - ironic as it's banned. There are also a ridiculous amount of moles turning up newly hatched on my nipples too.
I still seem to have uti like symptoms where I need the loo at lot but there isn't much fluid being passed.
Yes to the hair - face and belly.
Grrr sexy....

Ok work update
I sent my grievance in and heard nothing back. But I got a letter on Friday saying they had not received it and I have to go to a welfare meeting tomorrow with my area manager. I sent the grievance again by email but had no acknowledgement.
I'm going to the meeting as I need closure on all this but I'm terrified.
In the letter it say they have had to replace me and need my keys and car park pass back. It does say the new manager is temporary until a time when I am fit to work but it's obviously not the case but they have to say that don't they?
I'm not planning on going back so I don't really care but I'm not going to leave without them paying me some sort of notice period. I'm fully prepared to go to tribunal for discrimination. I've looked into it and I should be able to get the court fees paid for based on our income. I have been to a tribunal before and my old employer settled three days before the court date. I didn't get as much as I was hoping for but it wasn't about the money. I was effectively put out of a job when our company was bought out and treated badly. I didn't want their money and so I gave it all to my dad so he could buy a car.
If I do get a little bit of money by way of paid notice, it will be spent on the baby fund and a bit by for Xmas. I'm not expecting loads but hoping for two weeks to a month notice paid.
I feel physically sick at going in tomorrow as my grievance sounds really petty, which it is, but not on my side it was my manager bulling me over millions of small petty things. I'm 100% sure I'd have lost my baby due to extreme stress and over worked if I'd have carried on working! I just couldn't do it emotionally or physically.
Wish me luck! I'm going to need it! Xx0 -
hello!
Well, DH felt his first kick last night! Soooooo exciting! I got three really strong kicks, so I got him to pop his hand on my tummy and he felt the next one. Didn't think that would happen at 19+2. I think he was slightly freaked out by it, TBH. :rotfl:
WTDN - yeah for just being able to enjoy a christening! Does the whole infertility thing feel like a lifetime ago? I find myself somehow magically forgetting everything we went through, even though it was awful. Same question to you T2D and Peonie.
Aw that's so nice about your OH. That moment was truly special for us. I cried! I will never forget how bad I felt going through the infertility and am super-sensitive around others about it (I have a feeling a few people at work are struggling) but you're right, it's very difficult to imagine the desperation we felt. We are massively lucky xx
Yay hello LA :hello:0 -
T2D - My boobs are so red and hard today. I hate my new boobs. I liked them at first because they were bigger (always been an A) but now I detest them. They are veiny and hard and awful. They look like theyre stuck on with plastercine like two horrible turnips! Urgh. I'm guessing they are getting ready for the colostrum (sp?)...
TCOD - awHope you feel better soon mate
Stretchmark cream - I have been using palmers cocoa butter stretch mark cream and its pretty good. Existing stretchmarks have faded - not completely disappeared - but definitely look better. Hoping it keeps new ones at bay too.0 -
Aw Daisi - this is what were here for. Moan away. I think we all feel like that from time to time. chin up chuck - you'll get through it.
Good luck Monty. Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx0 -
Ooh just realised I'm 24wks today so should really be moving to big girl thread, might just hang about a bit longer.
Sorry I've not been around much, this whole redundancy malarkey really stressing us both out. Trying to get through it all without wine is hard! I am lurking though...
Still holiday in a couple of weeks to look forward to, just need to keep it in sight...Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
