12-24 weeks pregnant (part 3)

Hello everyone
We'll my meeting went better than expected, my area manager recently found out she is 18 weeks pregnant and I think it made her have an element of empathy! She went through my being of sick/welfare meeting and told me he grievance would be done on a separate date. She asked me if I planned on returning to work and I told her I can't work with my manager again. She then asked what is it I wanted and so I said I'd like them to terminate my employment and pay me four weeks notice, and after some to-ing and fro-ing she agreed. It means I don't have to endure a grievance investigation, my word against theirs etc and I can walk away with my head high. I reiterated that I felt disappointed things hadn't worked out and the feedback she had received about me was not a reflection of who i am and she said she knew that and was still confident in her decision to employ me in the first place, and sometimes these things just happen.
So it's all done and dusted, I feel much happier I can now enjoy being off work, we know money will be tight but we can manage and this extra £1800 will go into savings for us.
I'd say all in all a good result0 -
Well done Monty! Sounds like a great result, and the money will come in handy I'm sure. Well done for pursuing it and it's so nice when you find someone who listens to you and is helpful.0

Yay, that's fantastic news Monty. I really am pleased for you and that you don't have to continue on with the stress of it all you can just relax and enjoy the time that you have prior to your little one showing up. Even better that she agreed that it wasn't a reflection of you.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14
