    Hello All,

I just had my 12 week scan and dated at 13+1 weeks and my due date is on 14th December 2014.

Can I join you lovely ladies for the next part of my journey.

This is my first baby after a successful IVF in March 2014 after years of infertility. I am so excited and happy to be here.

Can anyone tell me about what are the things I should be expecting during this trimester.

Welcome love actually and congrats after your IVF. Lots of us on here had trouble conceiving so it's nice that we can all share experiences.
As for this trimester, sickness should ease thank god! We've all experienced various things from ligament pains, stretch marks, leaky sore boobs, spotting, tiredness....and allegedly blooming hahahaha! I actually most of the time feel great, my bump is blooming and my energy levels have picked up in the day a but. I'm still early to bed and very early to rise but I guess that's good prep for when the baby comes.

We've all spent this trimester buying things for baby and picking names, and worrying about doing our houses up! We're a crazy bunch, you'll love it here :)

Welcome loveactually! Lovely to see you here, it's nice to have some old 'friends' appear. :)

Speaking of random questions, I noticed today that one of my boobs (specifically the nipple area) has gone rock hard. Is that milk coming in? For those that are leaking, have your nipples gone really hard? I have two mount everests struck on my chest, so they aren't the perkiest things ever, but the one with the hard nipple is much heavier and noticably hanging further down than the other.

I've also just restarted progesterone so that may be influencing things. The progesterone has also messed up my sleeping again, not looking forward to that continuing for the rest of the pregnancy!

That's amazing. I have no crafting skills at all. How do you get started with this sort of thing?

Honestly, I don't remember when I learned. I started in my early teens (exciting teenager that I was!) I think my grandma may have shown me. You need a lot of patience as it takes a long time to make progress, and be quite precise as you are following a pattern, and if you get it wrong it makes the whole rest of the pattern harder.

Some kits are easier than others. I did a nice big one that looks impressive but lots of white space so is relatively quick and easy to complete if people are interested.

lilmiss we were discussing names and hubby likes Arya and when I looked up the meaning it lioness so he said Arya Nala unfortunately the initials end up as ANL. We then went of saying we could have names so the initials end up as LOL etc but didn't get anywhere as we're waiting to see what team we're on to then start deciding although hubby doesn't like any names that I've put on a list.

T2D that's so cute. Hubby and MIL can both cross-stitch so will leave the crafty stuff up to them as I haven't got a creative bone in my body. I can visualise what I want to do put can't actually put it into practice.

 Loveactually what Monty said :rotfl:. Seriously ask anything and everything, rant, moan, whinge, complain whatever you need we're all here to help each other.

tinkwings - I got two pairs of overbump jeans from Peacocks and they are the comfiest things ever (once I got used to them).

I'm jealous of the housebuying but not of the stress. Really wish we were in the position to be able to buy a place but doubt that it's going to happen any time soon. I at least hubby on side with me that we're going to probably only get another year out of where we are now until we need to move again just to have some room and he's even mentioned that he doesn't mind moving more than a 10 minute walk from his mummy :rotfl:.

Not sure if I mentioned but I put in my maternity paperwork last week and I have realised that I've gotten my leave wrong and can finish earlier than I thought as even though I knew I had 4 weeks holidays I was only looking at taking 3 weeks leave before mat leave started so yay. I need to decide on taking it before or carrying it over but with everything that's going on I'll probably just take it all before mat leave.

Have a had a grumpy weekend but not meaning too. Poor hubby has taken the brunt of it and he's bit back a couple of times but think he realises it's not intential. He was so sweet last night and moisturised me after my shower and whilst he was rubbing my [STRIKE]belly[/STRIKE] bump he swears that he felt sproglet moving and his face was an absolute picture. Made up for the terrified look he'd had on his face while his mate was round telling him it will be the best thing in the world having a baby.

And this is what happens when I don't post all weekend, sorry ladies for the mammoth post :o:rotfl:.

Thanks for the lovely welcome ladies.

    Ok here comes the questions.

As it was IVF my manager knows from before that I am pregnant. I asked her when I was 6 weeks pregnant when should I inform HR and she said dont mind informing now as its too early.

So legally speaking when should I be actually informing to the HR as my manager is taking things easily and I dont want to risk anything.

Also one more question about the Stretch mark creams. I am not using any currently but would like to know when to start using it and which one is good ?

T2D & Star02 - nice to see you two too and very happy that its all going well for you guys
