Well I had an uneventful day, which I suppose is as it should be. Did a few calls for work, dozed in front of Andy Murray being hammered by Nadal and then walked to the GP to pick up my progesterone prescription.

Went to Tesco but their chemist didn't have progesterone. They directed me to a boots which was another little walk but I decided it was too much wandering so they are ordering in for me. DH will have to go and get it tomorrow.

BUT BUT - I had a moment of joy!!

I had to sign the back of the 'script and I said I didn't have to pay, the lady says 'I know', and gives a smile towards my tummy. I was bizarrely pleased! Bump is really making progress this week. :) (Maybe she guessed from the prescription, but I was still pleased).

All my weight worry has gone out the window. The bigger I get the bigger the baby is, and the more chance he has if he comes early. So grow belly grow!!

I bought 4 cupcakes from a stall and when the man was trying to persuade me to buy six he nodded at my belly and said you have a good excuse. :D First time stranger has commented and I was also tickled pink.

Glad you had an easy task. OK take my bra off overnight for comfort as even as a mat one it digs in. However I am about to get up and change my top as I am leaking SO MUCH  TMI but you know what? It'll come to you all too....

    TMI alert!!! TMI alert!!!

Put bra back on stuck half a panty liner into the cup of each for mopping up purposes. Breast pads are somewhere so will dig out when less tired and see if they are sticky. Otherwise concerned that for overnight breast pads will move too much. pete's sake this isn't meant to happen for at least another 4 months

Morning! Stressful start to the holidays, hubby got held on at work so we ended up having to take 2 cars on the first 242 miles as id organised and was taking my sisters 18th birthday cake for her party that we were going to be 2 hours late for even if she got away on time! It ended up strapped into the front seat and nearly made it in 1 piece apart from an owl having a skint head!!!

Walked in wearing a maternity midi dress. My other b1tch of a sister rocked up to me and announced that she thought I'd have more of a bump instead I've just got rolls of fat. Gee thanks (I've got a slight B shape with a stretched belly button, not like I'm having to lifts up the layers to find it!). If it's not about her then everyone else is wrong and she's right if you know what I mean!
Everyone else, and literally everyone, told me how great I was looking for 21 weeks and my cousin who's had 3 kids (and was guttered dancing about in her perfect figure in a near butt revealing playsuit) kept on feeling bump and asking me where it is as it's so small! I'll go with her and everyone else and ignore the b1tch! She's had her 4 and can't really comment as I remember the size she was with hers!

Anyway, my bed at mums is usually really comfy, not now it seems. 4 hours sleep is all I've managed and even lying here flat out I'm really uncomfy in her wee double (used to kingsize) and I'm hanging off the edge!

Today is going to be a good day. Today is going to be a good day. I'll keep telling myself that!

:( some people are just awful. I went out for a family meal last week and my bump is an a obvious bump ( posted pic other day) after we'd eaten I said 'I'm so full' and my brother laughed and said ah that's ok you're full of baby! My mum turned round and said no she's not its fat!

I know she was joking but I burst into tears and she was awful and went home. It's not been mentioned since.

Mum and I were supposed to go to the Ideal Home Show today but I've cancelled. I don't want to test the fainting theory.

I think I'll sent Mr P out to buy a fan.

Mrs C, I love my sister but, in the past, she would make comments about my body that were not needed and that I never had a problem with until she said something. These days I'll tell someone they are being rude - if I can get over the shock of what they've said in time!

Monty, try not to let that get to you, that was just down right nasty of her. People can be so horrible sometimes.

My sister and I have never seen eye to eye and it's gotten worse over the last year or so, she's nasty, vile, vindictive, and countless other things and I will never forgive, or forget, the things she has said and done. I told her last night she was a cheeky b1tch before I went on to speak to much nicer people.
She's never been anything but horrible to my husband but for some reason last night before she left she said to us that she'd be in touch re summer and trying to sort something for us all to meet. The only way that's happening if is she drives all the way to meet us (I'll eat my hat if she does) as the last however many times I've been down for whatever reason I've had to fit in going to her house instead of her bringing the kids to whatever family meet has been organised as she's 'just too busy'. Bonus is, I don't have any spare beds now so she will have to find a b&b or hotel, nearest of either is 3.5 miles away! Yay!

I'm not holding my breath for that visit!

Oh dear families. My mum congratulated me in one breath when I told her and in another told me I was selfish for having another December baby and sex should be banned in Feb/March. I really planned it that way lol but I will make sure my lo's have a great birthday and Christmas no matter when their birthday is. I think her parents were too busy for celebrating her birthday.

Peonie I hope you get better soon.

Right shower time for me. Have a nice day ladies.

thanks for your kind words and support re my MIL. In my heart I know I've never heard a kind or nice word about anyone or anything come out of her mouth so I shouldn't expect otherwise but you can't help but be upset. Mentioned to SIL yesterday about not sleeping because was upset about what had been said, and was told to ignore it, don't let it get to me etc but as I pointed out I'm not a robot without any feelings.
We're going down to see the in laws next month, Friday night to sunday tea time, I'VE got to go and get the tickets this morning, but this time I am getting show tickets online before we go so I know we can get out of the house. I've also decided that if I'm rude by trying to keep busy when she's talking Italian, then I will ask once for her to speak English, and if she refuses then I will just go for a walk, and take a book to either McD's or the library. Don't feel safe really mooching around London on my own. We are also getting asked constantly when we are next visiting and we must stay for a week, 2 weeks ..... when the inevitable question comes up, I will just say straight that whilst the baby is young we will only be going for day trips. As you all say whatever I do will be wrong, so I shall just do what I want to do in the future and she can swing.

my SIL & BIL leave at some stage today, would normally be at knitting club this morning, but as they are still here and I've worked every day of their visit I don't feel able to go. I have unfortunately got a sneaky feeling that they won't be up and around till at least 11ish so I could probably have gotten away with it but just doesn't feel very hospitable.

Lemon tree, sounds like the right approach next time but from what you've said I don't think it will make the blindest big of difference. I have lots of lovely Italian friends but I wouldn't like to be related to any of them! My MIL once complained yo my husband that I kept butting in on her when she was speaking. I pointed out to him that there's times I've just shut up when I've been talking as she's started, infact, there was one meal I spent in silence as every time I opened my mouth and got 2 words out she spoke over the top of me. One of these days I'm going to butt back in and ask if the middle of my sentence interrupted the start of hers!

Grrrrr. 4 hours sleep, I feel like being grumpy today, had u guessed?!
