I've had another funny turn in the shower, feeling feint and dizzy. I had to lie down on the bed. I've eaten a bit of chocolate but I feel awful, just exhausted. I weighed myself today and since last week I've lost 5lbs but I am eating. My weight is all over the place. I'm still a stone lighter than when I found out I was pg.
first I lost just under stone and a half, then I put half a stone back on now I've lost 5lbs.
I'm worrying now something might be wrong. It's horrible I've no scan until 19th June and I've not felt the baby move since the first time about two weeks ago but I am only 19+2 so might still be too early really.
I feel a mess.0 -
That is wonderful
How are you? Hope you are ok. You mentioned more hospital visits this week? Is it the placenta again? Sending hugs...I know the stress!!
Yes i have appointments most weeks now for check ups & check ins.....at least they are keeping an eye on me.......
I am still loosing stuff everyday day and have been since May 4th some days are worse than others ....... One of the reason I brought myself the heartbeat Doppler was to give me some piece of mind that the bump is ok.........
I craved a Greek salad today!!! Made my own it was yum scrum..... Also crave anything Lemon & tart !!!
Oh & oddly spicy food doesn't taste spicy to me AT ALL any more ...... No idea what that is all about .....
Did anyone else have the thunderstorm???? I have been awake since 4am as I hate themIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Really cross with myself nipped to shops tight space n knocked the other car scuffing their wheel arch left my details on car n reported to deputy manager couple lovely guys saw it happen n checked I was ok n said remember it's private car park n they can't prove anything if u want to leave I couldn't do that n other people had seen. Deputy manager was lovely said no one ever admits cars get hit every day in there n people shout at them. Manager then came out n made me take photos as he said not all people are nice n may lie about damage. Anyway couldn't remember what shopping we needed came back out in blokes car it was is waiting I was thinking please don't shout as I will cry he wasn't shouty he was calm but !!!!ed off n can't blame him did agree for my husband to get quote for repair n contact him as husband works in insurance claims.
Came home husband said doesn't matter will get quote Mon using my photos if too much will claim on insurance- minimal damage to mine so prob not worth excess but damaged other car rear bumper n over wheel arch scuffed paint work damage.
Money that is wasted due to my stupidity n crap spacial awareness0 -

You've just reminded me I have a slice of M&S lemon tart in the fridge, hurrah :T
Freebiequeenie don't beat yourself up, these things happen. Could have been much worse than a wee scuff and most people are very decent. Try not to fret about it0 -
I know my husband keeps saying that also n accidents happen n he will sort it Mon. Bloody shopping could have waited til tomorrow as well0

Ladies can I have an opinion please on visitors after the birth. I know this has been discussed before but this isn't actually a dilemma as such
I don't want my in laws to have to wait weeks and weeks to see their grandchild. They live 300 miles away so can't just pop in and out. However I also don't want them staying with us immediately after the birth because I know it would just be too much - I want to get to grips with breastfeeding, will be sore and bleeding etc, and the three of us need to get used to each other. However my in laws are very reasonable and would not have a problem with this.
The ideal answer is that they stay in a hotel and come for limited visits when it suits all of us, and they would be fine with this, but as I have no idea when I'll actually give birth how on earth do you organise a hotel without paying crazy prices for short notice bookings? I live in a small village with only one extremely expensive hotel, but near a bigger town with Holiday Inn etc - would they still be fairly cheap at short notice?
Anyone else planning to organise anything like this?0 -

tinkwink glad you heard the heartbeat.
daisy - what a scary thing, I'm sure taking the medication won't do any harm yet not taking it would have caused a lot more serious problems.
angeltreats - we're not planning anything, my father is likely to visit from Dorset but can sort himself out, and I'd probably die of shock if the outlaws made the 1 1/2hr ish drive with their other son to visit us. I'm expecting that we will have to visit them with the baby, which is not going to be my biggest priority for a fair few months!0 -
This thread moves quickly!
Welcome to the new ladies
Lemon Tree Sorry to hear about MIL, sounds like you can't win either way so may as well please yourself and OH rather than trying to please a woman like that!
MrsC....tobe Hope you manage to have a lovely relaxing holiday. Your sister is probably just jealous with her comments, ignore her, I am sure you look fab!
monty-doggy and lilmissreading I am sure you both look equally fab, ergh what is wrong with some people!?
tinkwings Yey for hearing the heatbeat and your little elephants you are making are soooo cute!
FallenArcher Glad your scan went well.
daisiegg How frightening, hope you are OK
freebiequennie These things happen, try not to get too stressed x
To the poorly ladies, hugs and hope you feel better.
angeltreats Thankfully all my family live close so we won't have to have anyone come and stay. I don't think I could handle that so if they did, I think I would suggest a hotel as like you say, if you are bleeding, tired and BF you don't need to be worrying about looking after others.
Hopefully I haven't missed anyone!
AFM, we went shopping today and decided on a buggy. My lovely in-laws ordered it for us then and there so feeling very grateful and excited. It all feels a bit more real now. We were holding off buying anything until we move at the end of July but they will keep it at their house.
I am thinking of going to buy bits for my hospital bag next week. I know of a few people who have given birth super early so I'm starting to get a little twitchy that I am so unprepared!
23+6 xx0 -
Laila the only thing I've got for my hospital bag is maternity pads and the babies going home outfit
not sure what that says about me lol
