I am just about to head off to the hospital for our repeat anomaly scan. Although I know they just could not see her heart properly due to my fat tummy I am still slightly worried they will find something bad. They are also meant to be checking my placenta and so on after all the bleeding and stuff. Looking forward to seeing baby girl again but just want everything to be ok.0

Freebie - My daughter was born in April too so some of the seasons may not be right . Although she has always been small so lasted in sizes longer than average. I will prob get some new basic vests and sleepsuits etc as they get a lot of use.
Good luck with the scan Daisy.0 -

Hi ladies. Yesterday and today I've been getting a 'heartbeat' in my left ear. I used Dr Google today and basically it could be tinnitus (not likely as I've not been anywhere or in prolonged repetitive noise likely to cause it) or pregnancy related....more likely!
I'm off to the doc tomorrow just to get checked out since we fly on Saturday and I don't want to be at risk of an ear infection but just thought I'd let you all know that it's something else maybe to look out for.
Will let you know what doc says but some of the forums I found on google people were suffering it for the remainder of pregnancy from when it started! I hope not with me!!!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

Thanks for asking. I think it was ok. The lady doing the scan was really unpleasant and I came out feeling very upset. I am probably ridiculously hormonal and overreacting but I have been crying on and off since coming back from it! But anyway the important thing is 'as far as she can see' the heart is ok so I suppose that is what matters.0

Hi ladies
just delurking briefly
glad to hear your scan was ok daisiegg x
Hope you feel better soon peonie x
Just wanted to mention Mrs c to be what you have is pulsatile tinnitus which is caused by the extra blood flow around your body, it's totally harmless just really annoying! I had it from 14 weeks and I'm now 29+3 and it's still going I'm afraid to say. I notice it a lot less now so I suppose I've just got used to it. I found it was really bothering me when I was trying to get to sleep (I was in tears at one point with it) but downloaded a free i-phone app called "relax melodies" and by using a combination of white noise and a few other sounds I can almost completely mask it to allow me to sleep. I hope that helps I wanted to offer some advice as I know how much it sucks!
hugs to all

Thanks Purcy. Thought initially I had water in my ear yesterday but then as the day went on and it didn't go away realised it wasn't, and then this morning when it was still there.....ho hum.
Daisie, try not to fret over today, as much as it sounds like you didn't have a great experience. I'm sure she would have said if there was something wrong so please dont worry. Big hugs xNo longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

Yip, I'm jealous of ankles and feet.....weirdo!
before i lost my weight my ankles and feet were huge, resembling elephant feet and would be so swollen by the end of the day that I would struggle to bend them. They were some of the first things to slim down which was fab, but have never been really thin, just thinner. But then again sister-in-law asked a woman in a caf! when she was due, and she said she wasn't pregnant just fat! This woman has the tact of a double decker bus!!0
