When I drifting off to sleep if hubby's in bed I lie on my right side so I face away from him and he cuddles in. If he's not it's my left side or kind of on my stomach. I have one leg bent up to the side and an arm under my with my hand supporting my tummy away from the bed. It's actually really comfy. I find it inevitable that at some point during the night I will wake flat out on my stomach and I'll be in pain for a wee while til I move and let it subside. I'm sure my body won't let me sleep on my tummy at some point.
There was something else I read that I wanted to comment about but now I can't remember what it was!!!!!
Holiday update though....I went into the travel agents today for advice even though it was an online booking and the woman couldn't gave been nicer. I explained everything to her and she tried so many different ways to help but it seems I'd thought of everything! Now he is booked onto the same flight as us on his own booking, I've booked a room at the hotel independently in hubby's name for 2 occupants (so paying for an extra adult but worth if so we don't get any problems when we arrive) and separate transfer to and from hotel for hubby. Nightmare bug at least we're getting, and it came in about £650. Yes we don't gave that to spare tight now bug it's better than losing £1500 and having nothing so show for it!!!No longer ...tobe! Glad you managed to get things sorted for the holiday even if it is costing more money - I hope you have an AMAZING time!0

Dreams....they're totally crazy again just now. I haven't had crazy mental dreams since early pregnancy but they seem to have started all over again! No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

Thanks Daisie, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong between now and then! How much bad luck can we have in one six month period?!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

daisy, I can't drink that much fluid in the short space of time that they require you to drink it in. takes me ages to drink enough water for my scans so will be glad when I no longer have to drink so much for the later scans.
been sat here watching my tummy move as I'm being kicked, it seems very sudden that I now feel that I look pregnant and the baby is being so energetic all the time.0 -
Mrs C glad you've got your holiday sorted, it's a shame it's costing you so much but at least you still get to go away on holiday.
I'm very jealous as we had just booked a fab holiday when we found out I was pregnant and made the decision to cancel it, lose our depositbut save a lot more money.

We had to make that one aswell lemon tree, but we had paid the low deposit option so to even cancel I was going to have to pay another £400! Decided then that £600 was too much to lose, if only I could have predicted the future! No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

Lemontree - why do you have to drink lots of water for scans if you don't mind me asking?
Mrs C - glad it's feeling more sorted. Damn that lack of a crystal ball.
Daisiegg - yes to the crazy dreams. They come and go in phases. When I googled insomnia/crazy dreams in early pregnancy dr google told me I was depressed and anxious. Helpful as that was not the problem - i just wanted to know if there was something I could do about and being told to chill out/talk to my GP wasn't the answer i was after. I like to think i'd know or suspect those things if they were true.Met DH to be 2010

I get intense dreams as well, although they've taken a bit of a break the last few weeks. I googled what it meant to be naked in public in your dream, and I found this reassuring bit of info.
"Often times, when you realize that you are naked in your dream, no one else seems to notice. Everyone else in the dream is going about their business without giving a second look at your nakedness. If this happens in your dream, then it implies that your fears are unfounded; no one will notice except you. You may be magnifying the situation and making an issue of nothing."
I think the stress/anxiety dreams have reduced since then! It's not often Dr Google reduces your stress.
I've had a little bit of a lightbulb moment today. When I lie on the sofa, or lie in bed reading my phone etc I often finding I have a catch in my breath or feel my heartbeat thumping in my neck. After today's near faint, that is probably all to do with pressure from the baby! It's a relief, as I was starting to let the old worries about the cancer spreading take over again.0 -
lilmiss - do you not get told to drink loads for scans? if not you're bloomin lucky! we get told to so that it pushes the baby up to make them more easily visible. it's not fun though when they're running late, you desperately need a wee and your darling baby thinks it's fun to bounce or kick your bladder!0
