I fancy a vanilla slice, but we're on a tight-ish budget so I'm trying to resist buying extra treats (plus I only have 21p on me). I just ate a banana instead.

    Vanilla slice sounds good...

Bluebell - lucky you only had to read it twice! Had a little giggle this morning as was out last night and DD was telling me how she told Daddy 'again' when he read her Peppa book.

LailaP - I agree with the others, SW is not the place for you right now, esp as you were at a healthy weight before. My BMI was similar to yours pre-pg, and all I'm doing is trying to eat well (around 80% of the time really) trying to be active (mostly walking at the moment) and not trying to stress too much about weight gain. Baby needs us to put on weight, so that's what will happen. Judgy attitudes from SW people is not going to do you any good!

re the nursery - I think we're just going to paint it white and get a neutral carpet and then finish decorating once baby is here as I'm struggling to find a neutral scheme that I like. Figure baby will be in with us for a good few months at least.

Passed a small blood clot this morning (TMI alert - was brownish not red). Trying not to worry about it and hoping that its just the last of the clot we know about dissolving. Just when I was starting to relax..........:(

My vanilla slice was amazing. I get them from a local butchers and they are ginormous. And only £1.10 which for the size is brilliant. Had it with a decaf tea. Now I'm sat with my feet up with my puppy snuggled next to me and I'm going to watch some more obem.

I also bought tena lady when I went out lol.

LailaP that's a horrible thing for the SW people to say. I know if I was still going to mine she would just ask what I could differently rather than actually berate me for gaining weight as Daisiegg said things out of our control are adding to the weight gain. My BMI is now 32 and yes they do take it into consideration even though I'm pg it's ridiculous considering what it says on the NHS calculator.

I'm eating healthily when I can but not restricting myself at all. I've suddenly got a thing for chocolate covered peanuts so stocked up on M&Ms and Snickers yesterday. Should probably look for a better alternative but it's what I wanted there and then lol.

Monty I'm also noticing that if I don't go to the loo when I first need to then there is a bit of a leak when I do get round to going. I have weak muscles anyway so would always have to cross my legs when coughing, sneezing, laughing etc otherwise the inevitable happened. My condition causes weak muscles so am blaming that for it lol.

Daisiegg that happens a lot when I try to reply on my phone and add a link in as it refreshes the page, soo annoying.

We're not able to do anything about the nursery as we're in a rental. The room that will be the nursery needs to be sorted out anyway as the paint has peeled off the wall due to damp. We're hoping to be moved out of there into a more suitable place by the time sproglet is due to move into the nursery if not the landlord is going to get an earful constantly.

Thank you all for the replies. I think giving it a miss for now is the sensible thing as like others have said, it can't be good for me or the baby stressing about my weight at this time.

I just wasn't sure if I was being silly or not but it is out of order going on about my BMI right now isn't it!!

I will just continue to eat healthy and accept the weight gain, if others don't like it they can shove it!

    Good for you xx

I can pee every minute of the day :eek: It drives me insane..... Always feels like a pressure on my bladder to pee....

Fingers crossed my bleeding has changed to spotting today which is much easier to deal with and stress over .....
Still stressing just a little less stressful.....

Has anyone plans for the bank holiday weekend?

We are due to be at a wedding on May 31st in Lancashire we are in Devon so a massive road trip DH doesn't want us to go .. I can understand why and in some ways it would be safer & easier to stay home but I feel guilty for not attending a wedding for a long term friend....... What would you do????

So glad that the bleeding appears to be slowing down for you tinkwings.

My plans this bank holiday are to hopefully sort some stuff out in the spare room and have a relax unless anything else comes up. DH works in retail so bank holidays don't exist for him :(.

As for the wedding is it possible to explain to your friend what is happening at the moment and just say that you will try to make it however it will depend on how things are going. Obviously if you're able to bring your notes with you and anything else 'emergency' that you might need. I would try to make the trip but only make the decision the day before but I'm guessing you've got a hotel room booked for the occassion too.

I would rather be given notice that someone can't make it rather than them just not turn up especially with no explanation IYKWIM.

Hope that helps a little xx
