i have to take vitamins anyway so have just swapped to pregnancy ones for the duration because of the Vit A in normal ones. I did stop taking the extra folic acid ones.
finally found out what the ultrasound dept wanted so urgently yesterday, thankfully it's not to cancel Tuesday's appointment, they also had me booked in for today which was wrong and wanted to make sure I didn't turn up.
my little furbaby goes into the vets for an operation tomorrow, thankfully hubby will take her in but I'm a little worried. but secretly looking forward to a quiet evening tomorrow whilst she's recovering - aren't I a mean mummy!

Hugs to everyone with worries and good luck for scans tomorrow lilmiss and T2D.

As expected hubby and I both put at risk of redundancy today - my job is 6 going down to 3 and hubby's is totally gone - pah what a pile of poo that we don't need right now :(

Oh, so sorry :( this is rubbish :(

We had our 20 week scan today. Last night I was so excited I hardly slept. The baby is well. No problems seen. Thankfully there was a second screen for me to look it. We decided not to find out the sex although part of me is still convinced it's a boy. The baby was kicking my bladder but I could not feel it, probably as my placenta is at the front, and he/she was waving around their little arms.

I don't think I can wait another 20 weeks until I see the baby so may just have to book a private scan at 30 weeks.

It is a big gap isn't it? Two scans in the first half of the pregnancy and none in the second half.

Thanks Lolly and so sorry to hear this. Does that mean there are 6 people doing your kind of role and they are cutting it down to 3 people? Pants and poo.

Was just watching chelsea flower show and feeling sleepy when got 2 'pops' in different places. Felt different to wind and boy do I feel like I know what wind's like now. Anyway DH decided to put his ear on my belly and we found out that he could feel it when I could. I've therefore obviously missed the bubble stage and maybe jumped straight to a kick? Made me more excited and hopeful for tomorrow :D
    Met DH to be 2010
    Moved in and engaged 2011
    Married 2012
    Bought a house 2013
    Expecting our first 2014 :T

Lolly that's awful I hope they don't leave you waiting to find out.

Lemon tree poor fur baby. Hope he or she is ok.

I've had a lazy day today. Apart from doing the dishes and cooking tea I've not done much other than watch obem and nap.

I've got my friends dog for the weekend so no doubt it will be a bit crazy in my house this weekend with my puppy her dog, two cats, two birds, fish and 3 step kids!!!
  • Yes that's it lilmiss 50% reduction...

Probably be 3/4 weeks till I find out and for hubby he's got to find a job so who knows when that will be...

    Lazy day sounds lovely Monty!

Tink - only go if you feel comfortable. If they are a good friend they will understand.

Lolly - so sorry to hear about the jobs .

Peonie - glad the scan went well.

    Good luck for scans tomorrow!

I keep my notes at home, never took them with me last time either. I do have a card in my purse to say I am rhesus negative.

This weekend will be a quiet one as oh is working. My mum is going to visit Saturday . Need to think of some things to do to entertain dd.

monty, my fur baby is having her girly bits removed or whatever they do. wouldn't be safe for us to let her have puppies as I'd want to keep them all. I do feel mean that I'm effectively starving her at the moment.
oh meant to say, I keep my notes at home unless I have a medical appointment or leave the county. I am 'lucky' though as I'm back having a scan next week, and already have one booked for 28 weeks, and they're also talking about 34 weeks and possibly other growth scans, I guess there's at least one positive thing related to having a 'high' bmi.

my OH is working all weekend as well, so I'm hoping to finally get something productive done in the future nursery, he's been nudging me again about it :(
