    Happy anniversary! :T

I'm feeling good thanks. Although I've been procrastinating all morning because I've got to put in the formal part of my grievance for work today and I just can't bring myself to go over and over it. HR are aware of it all but in order to get it resolved I've got to put it in writing. I should have done this weeks ago but every time I think about it I feel angry, upset and fed up.

I AM going to do it today because I want to put it behind me and get them to pay me my notice period. It's only £900 but that will go a long way as I'm not working at all now.

On a happier note I got a settlement this week from my car accident last year so we can finally start getting the work done to convert the loft, move step daughters up there then start the nursery. The money should be in my account within the next 14 days so I'm able to start planning! Yay!

Hope you all have a lovely day and scans go well. Mine seems forever away, 19th June. I'll be 21 weeks by then!

    hello lovely ladies,

Daisie - sorry about the bleed. I don't know how you cope with the stress!

Scan went well today. Everything looking normal, but she said the baby was too curled up and she couldn't get a good view of the heart and the arms as they were tucked in. So back again next week when the baby is a big bigger.

I think it's a polite way of saying - too fat - try again later! The baby was up really high. She was scanning from above my belly button which really surprised me. She tried to scan from below but also said there is too much scar tissue from all my operations to get a view from that side, so they can only really look from the top. My BMI at the start was 31, so I don't think too bad, but I must have a very soft belly.

However, she could see the important bits, and confirmed its a boy. :j:jTime for some more team blues! I'm only telling you ladies, as I can't keep it to myself any longer. We are really pleased, I mean we would be either way of course, but somehow a boy seems perfect.

Ahh t2d lovely news! I thought you were going to stay team yellow all the way through so I am chuffed you have told :D how lovely. I was just thinking I know we all live in different parts of the country but isn't it weird to think our little beans will one day be children and then teenagers and then grown ups all the same age - who knows maybe one day some of them they will meet each other at uni/work/etc! I was also fantasising about my daughter marrying little Prince George, because I have been calling her Princess [her name] and clearly she is going to be beautiful and clever and graceful and all sorts of things that he will find irresistible :rotfl: Not that I am a particular royalist or anything but it passes the time!

I am also watching my box set of Gavin and Stacey and currently on the Christmas special..not that I am thinking about Christmas in May (I lie, I am always thinking about Christmas!) but......this Christmas we will have BABIES!!

I have had no more blood since that little bit this morning so I am slightly less worried. I just was pleased that it had stopped but it seems that is not the case. I didn't go to work though :o I just was not in any frame of mind and wanted to be home to knicker twitch and be in a position to call doctor/go to hospital or whatever if it got worse.

I have not felt much movement today but....I am hoping all is ok, and she is just resting/asleep after dancing around like a lunatic all week. I am only 21 weeks so should not be worried if I am not feeling kicks constantly yet, right??

Good Luck for the scans today lilmiss and T2D :)

Daisi, sorry to hear you have had more bleeding today.

I still can not get my head around having another being in our lives. We have been a two 10 years and lived together for 8 and now we will actually be a family! Though my hubby reminds me we already have the cat!! Not that it compares lol.

    Happy anniversary SewIt! :)

I am 24+1 today so think I will move on to the big thread. I will keep popping back to keep up :) Good luck and keep well everyone!
See you over there soon! x

Glad the bleeding has stopped Daisie, it's still worth getting checked over if you're worried.

Lollypops, hope that your husband finds something else soon, and that you are able to stay in your job.

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow! See you there very soon Jen.

Congrats on being team blue t2d :)

Taking today off work to make it an even longer weekend. So far got the shopping done and that's about it.
