Hi ATs, I read your question on the other thread and thought the way you wanted to break the news was right.

Great news for me tonight.....hubby told me before he went out to play on his bike that if I get one of the colours onto the bathroom walls he will get he toilet back in tonight! No more running downstairs to the loo in the middle of the night half asleep.....was beginning to think it would be easier if I just camped out in the downstairs hallway.

Happy dancing while taking a break waiting for the first coat to dry enough to get the next one on :)

Just delurking from the big thread to say I also haven't been through my birthing plan yet at 36+2! Maybe this week lol!

The main reason I wanted to post was because someone was talking about the Hauck Eagle and I remember the poster saying they were on a budget, so I wanted to just post about Bounty Offers http://www.bounty.com/bountyoffers/ - the Hauck Eagle is on offer this week. It doesn't ALWAYS work out cheaper (in fact just looking now the preciouslittleone site has it £10 cheaper) but it's definitely worth a look, new offers come up every Monday and often include a number of prams. I got a M&P Sola for £165, at the time M&P were still selling it themselves for £279 and third party sites were selling it for £199. xx

delurking just to say I don't think it's the norm to go through birthing plans at 25 weeks, I know every part of the country is different but I'm 35 weeks and my birth plan has never even been mentioned! in hoping they do it at the next appointment ha!

Nobody went through my birth plan at all, my appointments were never more than urine check, BP, quick feel of the baby and a listen to her heartbeat. I actually wrote it when I started having contractions (6 days overdue) as I figured I should probably have something to hand in case they asked me and I was too much in pain to think rationally.

Has anyone ordered using the mothercare app yet to get their £10 discount? Did you write down your discount code? I did nit and don't know how to find it again. Oops.

  • Can I join you today as well please? Me, Angel and a load of others all had our scans today. I have also 'lost' a week and am 13 weeks when I thought I was 12. Quite pleased about it to be honest.

    Hi Michelle.

T2D, tonight I have a lovely sharp pain on the right and between my belly and top of my thigh. It hurts whenever I move. Have you talked your DH round to the idea of getting a car seat yet?

Today whilst [STRIKE]not[/STRIKE] watching a webinar at work I wrote a list if medical irks to discuss with the midwife on Thursday. Only a day and a half until we see the baby again - yay. If it's bouncing around I wonder if they will get us film it?...

Oh, this is our bugaboo: http://www.mothercare.com/Bugaboo-Cameleon³-Pushchair-Base-and-Navy-Blue-Fabric/701651,default,pd.html

Welcome newbies! Hope you enjoy this trimester. It takes a while to get over the first 12 week stress but for me this bit has gone much faster and has been less stressful. And that's despite some pretty major medical treatment! It's nice too when people know and you can start to share the news.

Peonie - DH is convinced we need a seat now, but we haven't agreed on one yet. I've said we should forget about it for a while until the 20 week scan on Friday.

I have been getting those sharp side pains, and maybe today they just spread across the middle. Seems to have calmed down a bit although I just got a big burst of the side pain when I stood up from the sofa. I've taken that as a sign I should stay on the sofa. :) I had a long nap tonight - I've been doing too much so needed a catchup. Feeling a bit more myself now.
