Just saw a page back a few messages on weight.

I am nearly 29 weeks and for the last few weeks have steadily been gaining weight. I have gained just over a stone in weight but prior to 20 weeks barely anything.

Tbh it's on my hips and bum and my bump is out front quite a bit now.

  • Hey everyone,

Anyone suffering with lower back pain ? Mine was really bad yesterday :( i think i'm standing badly with my bump pushed out instead of with my pelvis beneath me if you see what i mean ?!?
  • That sounds rubbish pommeverte :( iv not had back pain but for the last couple of days iv had real aching down below, I think it's my pubic bone? it hurts when I walk! hoping it'll go away.

feeling a bit fed up as I don't have any bras that fit so went to get fitted tonight. in debenhams she said I was a 36G () didn't like the selection at debenhams to went to m&s, tried some 36G on, they were huge and so uncomfortable so I got measured again and she said 38E! maternity bras are the most unattractive things EVER, I want to wear underwired ones! ended up with nothing. :(
  • Yugh Firey, I understand your irritation. I'm still wearing 2 sports bras & 1 I got earlier on.. But need to go shopping again :(

I got bra extenders from JoJoMamanBebe (much cheaper than haberdashery ones from hobby craft!), so that'll help. I also grabbed a 2 pack of Primark Nursing Bras for £8.00, I know I might change size again but with the extenders I reckon they'll work fine, even if just for wash days for sleeping in. They are soft with a drop down bit... I tried them on... Woah they/I look so funny when dropped down!! :o:rotfl:

Actually loved JoJos, I got a "bump band" and am in love with it!! :D it is a jersey tube that can be worn with tops to give more coverage and I can buttons into my pre-pg jeans, giving me extra room, plus it's soo comfy. It's not supportive as such, just feels secure and warm and comfy :D best pregnancy money spent so far.

  • :o I am so much more comfortable. I finally got around to having a proper bra-measure in the department store today. Unfortunately my local town is rubbish for bra shopping, so I picked up a couple of cheapies from the supermarket in my new size to tide me over while I look for something else. 36C now, I couldn't believe from looking at the size of it that it would fit, but it did, really well!

Think I made the mistake of jinxing myself by saying I haven't had indigestion for a while. After eating a large late dinner I am now feeling awful and sicky :(

  • Fingers crossed I've just bought a very good value Doppler off of eBay :) it sold for very cheap so I hope the seller doesn't cancel :/

Know the feeling moonbabe. Was so thrilled I didn't have any last night, and now tonight I'm up burning the midnight oil as it's come back twice as bad after a meal out with the in-laws. :( Nothing is helping and I'm desperate to sleep. :( Ended up coming downstairs as I keep disturbing hubby - he's being wonderful about it, but I feel guilty.

Robots, keeping my fingers crossed the seller doesn't cancel the sale! :)

I too woke up last night with what I think must be heartburn or something. Like shooting pains just above my chest and felt like something was in my throat. Very unsettling! Not had it before!

Yes I'm another one suffering from indigestion. I feel so hungry all the time, but I think eating more is causing me problems. Yesterday I cut back to normal portions and it seems to have helped. So tricky to resist eating though

Hope you all feel better today ladies.

And that you get your bargain, Robots!
