Another one here who felt movement from 15/16wks.
It's now stronger and definitely baby, also it's where sonographer said baby was when I had my 20wk scan so no doubt in my mind now!
Very exciting sewitBaby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Hello everyone hope you had a lovely weekend, we worked really hard getting our garden all lovely so I can enjoy being off over he summer.
I also felt baby for the first time lay in bed this morning. It was like bubbles rising in a glass of pop, so I put my hand where it was and I felt a definite movement twice, then I got up ate breakfast and I felt like I had a fish swimming round in my stomach!
I'm 17 weeks now I think.

Ok, I think I have manage to do that right! We are staying team yellow! My choice as DH would like to find out, but says as I'm growing the baby he'll go with what I want
Am undecided on if its just wind or not, but will keep you all posted if I feel anything else!
I am another one that has been putting off exercise, but that is due to the MW telling me not too due to the bleeding. Am hoping that at my appointment tomorrow I'll get the all clear and I can get cracking. TBH I am dying to get in the pool and stretch the old muscles and also start with yoga. We have to book in blocks here, so I'm going to wait until I'm back from hols as I don't want to pay for and miss two weeks (tight Scot in me there!)0 -
We're due on the same day!
I was at the midwife today told her what I felt and she said it sounds like it was baby, then she got the Doppler out and the baby was wriggling all over the show so she had to keep moving it to listen to the heartbeat again which made me think it must be what I felt! Little wriggler!0 -

Then I think to myself even if we had the money I probably couldn't spend so much on a pram and new things when they grow so quickly! It does stress me out though. I don't want my kids to go without like I did but the financial state we're in doesn't really make me think it'll be any different. I never really thought about the cost of having a baby as I didn't think it was that important but now i'm doubting myself.
Don't stress TCOD - no baby remembers what pram they were pushed round with! Better to save your money for experiences rather than things, if you know what I mean - days out etc. More likely to create happy memories than a whizzy car seat etc!... that's my whole viewpoint on life in general to be honest
I also think of all the people who must be in a much worse position than me, and they manage to bring up perfectly happy children...
Though saying all this, the fact my niece has an ipad at 5 totally freaks me out. Is this now the norm?!0 -

Sewit - I reckon that's baby.... you have how many years experience of having wind, if it feels different then I would go with the 'it's bubs' theory!
I was unsure at first but now I deffo know when it's baby. He's getting more energetic day by day!
I started feeling movement at 18.5 weeks

It does seem to be the norm! I know several people whis children have ipads/ tablets! I keep saying my child will not have one but as I think kids are getting less creative these days but im sure it will def be the norm in a few years. Scary!!0 -
We're back from ordering the travel system and the car seat. I'm a bit peeved we were not about to get any extra money knocked off them. I've just remembered the assistant was supposed to check if there were any vouchers in their booklet but did not. We got the maxi cosi car seat as it's in a price match but the family fix was not so we'll buy it when it's cheaper. I've not bought everything else I was going to as I could not get the discount. I'll just have to use the mothercare app instead. This forum has changed me.
Does anyone else get a lot of sharp pains? I've not really felt the baby yet (I'll ask the midwife at my scan on Thursday where the placenta is) but I'm concerned the pain is from the baby bouncing around on my scars.
We've been decorating our room. Next week we'll paint again. When our room is done we can start on the baby's.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120
MFiT3 #86: Reduce mortgage from £146,800 to £125,000

teaandcakeordeath wrote: »Lemon, have you bought a car seat base for the joie gemm? I was looking at buying the one that's compatible with it (£45 belted and about £65 isofix) but now just seen they do one called i-anchor which fits jemm and bigger seats. It's £100 which hurts a bit but now i'm thinking spending that now would prob make buying a bigger car seat cheaper in long run (the seat that fits on it can be rear facing til they're 4 which i'm told is much safer)... Urgh. What to do...0
