Lemon Tree - I don't see why there should be a problem with reusing a fleece blanket but maybe a quick google would be worthwhile.

    Good luck any name.

I've managed to find the pebble car seat and the familyfix base at cheaper prices than M&P sell them for so we're heading back to M&P to see if they will price match them just so that we can have everything on the same order and delivery. If not I'll pass the details on to my Mum and she can order them for delivery direct from there. Bless her I think she's feeling guilty that I'm away from my family at this time so isn't concerned about the cost of the items really but we do love a bargain when we can get one.

I'm absolutely loving this weather although my hayfever has started to play up but I popped by my Uncle's pharmacy the other day to tell him I was pregnant and to also get some suitable tablets, still waiting for them to kick though.

I'm definitely feeling more energetic but that could be due to the fact I've been off work for just over a week lol. Back to it tomorrow but it's a staff away day that's 5 minutes from my house so hoping to walk it there and back.

Have a great day ladies and enjoy the weather.

Lemon as it's a fleece blanket I don't think you need to bind it.

I read that fleece squares can be used as reusable wipes. I'm not sure I'd want to put heavily poo wipes in the washing machine. Maybe that's not what they meant.

Just hopping in here... That's exactly what it meant ;) we use reusable wipes & it's honestly not as bad as it sounds. Not for everyone though!

    Thanks becca.

I quite like this top cot charger: http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Bathing/Changing-Mats/Cot-Top-Changer-in-Polka-Dot(0015905) what do you think? I like that it will be lighter than a wooden top cot changer and without the need for a separate mat. I want a top cot changer so it will save my back. Plus it only costs a bit more than a mat.

Yesterday I suddenly took the notion that I'm going to have a boy. Don't know why, it just appeared that way in my head. Then last night I dreamt I had a girl.

How I had time to dream though I don't know, between the dog getting up and down and hubby snoring and stealing all the covers. I take it back, he can go away with work again this week!

    Hi Ladies,

I have just had my daughter and I have an Angelsounds Fetal Heart Doppler - picked her heartbeat up around 12 weeks.

Would anyone be interested in it? I paid £20 for it so I think £10 including postage would be reasonable and I will post it to you after payment?

If anyone would like it please inbox me....

Only feels like yesterday I was here and here I am breast feeding and typing one handed!

think I will have a go with the fleece blanket, it's doing nothing but getting in the way at the moment so the worst that can happen is for it to end up in the bin.
finally sorted out my nets which I've needed to do for 18 months or so, so finally they're in the washer and will be sorted yay! they've driven me nuts. Did have to race to my aunts to borrow some white cotton because although I know I have some, could I find it anywhere?
hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather.

Hope you ladies enjoyed the sunshine this weekend, we had no such luck and it rained yesterday and was overcast today. Ah the Scottish weather, you can't beat it!

Big DIY weekend at our house but baby's room all stripped and carpet up ready for re plastering.

Ali -where did you see the bargain on the pebble, that's the one I am leaning towards too and I love a bargain!

    Mrs C - I'm convinced we're having a boy too, don't know why though.

    Hugs ladies, x

Sewit - the pebble is £110 on Mothercares website and the familyfix base is £107.99 on Babies R Us.

We even had success at M&P matching the prices, apparently as long as they're in stock on the other websites they will match whatever price comes up which is a saving of £112.00. Whilst in there I had a play with the pram as well just to make sure that it was as easy as it looked and it felt so weird... I nearly burst into tears lol

We've bought a cotbed and bedding too as we had a voucher for £20 off a £150 spend plus also picked up a couple of boxes of little angels nappies from asda as they were £5 each so got one box of size 1 and one box of size 2.

It finally feels like we're getting somewhere with things now.

sewit sounds like you've made good progress in the nursery, I still have so much to do in ours to even get it to the stage where we can remove the cupboards and flooring and really get started in there.

I have at least filled another bag for charity, a bag of rubbish, one of recycling and finally sorted out the nets around the house once and for all. So mostly invisible progress that OH can't see but which I know I've done. Don't you just hate it when it's not obvious where you've actually spent your time.
