Ooh exciting :) we haven't looked at icandy mainly because quite a few people have told me they are really heavy. Is that not the case?
  • It's ok thanks Daisiegg it's not great but not unexpected.

If I go and hubby stays we will be fine. Worry is if hubby goes and I stay I may be going back to work much earlier than anticipated!

Ahh yes just looked it up and the Peach 3 chassis weights 14kg. Most of the ones we have been looking at are 9-11kg. I am only little and 14kg is probably too heavy for me :(
  • Ah it seemed ok to me but important it's something you are comfy with!

I figured I'd only be lifting into boot and back out again!

I am only four foot ten :o so even lifting the 9kg ones into my boot feels heavy to me lol!
  • Bless you! I'm 5' 5' so a bit taller than you!

  • What a beautiful day! Am feeling all energetic today (mil told me to get iron supplements- think they're taking effect!) so am going to try and tackle the mess the cowboy builders have left in our front and back yard so we can have a bbq tomorrow. I'll be crippled by the end of today so the weather best be nice tomorrow! :)

Congrats on team blue lixi! :)

Started out another lovely day here today, and then same as yesterday, as soon as I mentioned BBQ it clouded over. Oh well, still fine for getting washing done!
OH announced to me yesterday that our bathroom floor is getting done on Monday. Cue a trip to b&q to get the ply that we need for under the tiles....tiles cost us about £20 in sale over a year ago, ply was over £60! That just doesn't make sense to me! Lol. Anyway, my job once the sink and toilet are out is to paint it and give it a good going over so I'm having a break from starting to clear it all out just now, in between loads of washing too. If anyone's interested Dulux 2.5l tins of paint are 2 for £25 just now in b&q so we effectively got a tin of bathroom stuff for a quid (going for 2 colours to liven it up a bit). Hopefully I'll be able to decide what colour for babies room before that offer finishes so I can get back and get more, just didn't look at when it does finish tho. Doh!

Congrats on team blue Lixi, hope you're keeping well. I'm actually getting a bump now instead of just the fatty look, especially noticeable when I'm lying down. Out of all but one of my own trousers so today I stuck on the maternity ones and have been pulling them up all the way round the shops.....and then noticed the elastic bits on the inside to tighten them up. Muppet!!!
