Glad you feel better to have spoken to him but sorry it felt like a waste of time
I am just sitting around waiting for my friend to arrive. She was coming straight from work but that involves a drive round the m25 so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes her a while! Really strangely she is one of my best friends but I have not seen her since I have been pregnant - I have had to cancel a couple of arrangements as I have just been so ill. So I can't wait to see her tonight. As t2d was speaking of alcohol....I have decided I can have two small/half glasses of sparkling wine tonight...worked it out meticulously that it will add up to just under 2 units and if I drink it slowly, over the whole evening, with copious amounts of BBQ food, I think it will be ok! Will be strange as usually when we get together we stay at each other's so no one has to drive home, get straight into our pjs and drink a LOT of wine and cocktails. Still, I can do sober fun! I hope...
Hope everyone else is as pleased as I am to be getting to the end of the week, and has a really lovely weekend in the sunshine.0 -

managed to get a grumpy doctor to prescribe gastro resistant aspirin to give it a go. He did suggest that maybe I should just buy it over the counter don't you just love the nhs sometimes.
ended up coming home early. had bad stomach cramps from lunchtime onwards - combination of the lovely trapped wind and constipation which moved somewhat today. Since coming home I can definitely say most of the problem has been windbut I do still have a sharp pain in my right hand side, and have been struggling to keep my eyes open.
Oh poor youI had such problems with wind/diarrhea/constipation in the first trimester but luckily (touch wood!) it got better. Don't get me wrong, I still have a LOT of wind
but it is not trapped...quite the opposite...lol :on glad you got the medication you wanted, I hope your body likes it a bit better!

I'm going to see what crap I have in the loft and see if I can sell some to put towards and ask mum if I can have it although I'm prepared for the huge nag over how expensive it is and what else I can do with the money!
Waaaaaaaaa!:rotfl:monty-doggy wrote: »Omg I just realised how much it costs if you buy the pram, carrycot, footmuff, car seat and changing bag
Oh no Monty I'm so sorry I didn't mean to make you paddy. In total it's cost us £725.92 for the pram, carrycot and footmuff. You don't have to pay for it in full as you can pay a 25% deposit and as long as you have paid it off 28 days before delivery there's not a problem plus if it reduces in price then they apply that reduction too.
My Mum is buying the car seat and isofix base and she wants the Maxi Cosi Pebble as it has a 5* star rating compared to the Aton that they suggest goes with the Urbo2 plus you still need to buy the car seat adaptors whether you choose the Aton or another brand.
We picked up our change bag from TK Maxx for £20 when it was £80 rrp. Think you'd be surprised at what you might find in there.
Lemontree glad that you've got the medication sorted and as for wind/constipation I've bought prunes but haven't been able to stomach eating them yet. I really do need to start:rotfl:.
Daisiegg have a great time with your friend, there's nothing better than a good catch up.
I bumped into a friends mum earlier and she was actually double checking that there was only one baby. I did point out it was bloat but she was quite surprised at how bumpified I was but she did say I looked a lot better than when she saw me a couple of weeks ago and actually said I was glowing yay.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Ali, I was told to get the family fix base to go with the maxi cosi pebble. I think it was because it can be used with the pearl car seat as well.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Funny how they do not suggest you buy OTC when they prescibe something that would have cost £3!0 -
I've been given Lactolose for the constipation, but I think that it's also partially responsible for the trapped wind. Unfortunately would have been too tricky to release it whilst at work, so was glad my manager was happy for me to come home early. unfortunately I do think that I'm becoming quite lethal to the ozone layer though0

Ooo thanks for this. It's such a minefield of information out there that it's easy to get overwhelmed.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Ahh don't worry I was only joking. The pram is beautiful though
Who wants a laugh? My OH can be so thick sometimes.
I pulled my back doing excessive cleaning housework today so earlier I asked him to run me a bath and I handed him a brand new bottle of radox muscle soak bubble bath. Off he went, came down and when it was run he told me.
I come upstairs to find the bath looking like it's been topped ten times over with whipped cream and the water is blue as blue can be.
And there on the side is an empty radox bottle!
Can he really be that stupid?!!!0 -

Dammit I just lost a long post! I'll update separately again but good sign that no signs of complications. Weekly scans for the next ten weeks to monitor baby.
Monty-doggy lol. Has he never drawn a bath before?
Jen your boss sounds like a chump. At least you got it off your chest and you've effectively given him a warning shot across the bow!
Hop you have a lovely weekend T2D and everyone else. Hope you had a good night Dais!
MrsC glad the rsi is better at least!
