Beware if you're buying a microwave steriliser that it will definitely fit in the microwave so check the sizes before you open the packaging. Our microwave is quite small so reasoned that the slight extra spent on the electric one was worth the money as the power used on them will be about the same and it saved us buying a new micro :)

  • I parked in one of the Mum-to-be spaces at the supermarket earlier- the car park was really busy and I was bursting for a pee! I am nearly 24 weeks now and have a very visible bump, but I still felt a bit cheeky!

lol any name. I actually commented yesterday that I will be using the parent and child spaces when I've got a bump, there's no way I'm struggling to get in and out of the car with a huge bump and a lot of the inconsiderate/bad parking that there is about!

Any name we contemplated this yesterday at both m&s and sainsburys car parks but I chickened out!
Was afraid of getting told off lol!
  • I think the mum-to-be spaces are mainly used by parents. I did get a dark look off a man with small children parked next to me- he didn't say anything though which is just as well really because I would have pointed out it was in fact him who was parked in the wrong place!

I'm planning on bf I'm hoping for at least six months until baby can be weaned, but if I can't do it then I won't beat myself up.

I bought a starter set of six bottles, that came with the next stage teats too. I figure baby will still be using them after six months and oh may want to help if I can express. I feel really weird, I really want the closeness of bf but don't know how I will feel in reality!

I'm sat watching disneys Robin Hood with my step kids, and just been reduced to tears by a cartoon bunny who had his birthday gift taken by the sherif! Jees I need to man up!

welcome GeekPetite, yay on it being a girl. :)
we have our anomaly scan on Tuesday, and OH is convinced we'll be told ours is the same colour as yours :)

threw up again after lunch :( really hate this constipation lark, I'm sure it backs up my system and then I end up throwing up what I've just eaten - sucks!
  • I plan on bf for at least 6 months but also want to do baby led weaning so reckon i'll be bf for longer than that. I worry that if I have to use formula our money will not be enough and I'll end up returning to work earlier which is not ideal for me. Basically if it can save me money then I'm doing it! Reusable nappies, secondhand everything etc. BF is another stingy parent thing that I'm pinning my finances on! Lol. I've bought 6 bottles, a bottle washer and a friend is donating a steriliser. If BF goes well then I may consider getting a secondhand pump but it depends on money. I'm modifying our cot to become a co-sleeper (like this but definitely not as stylish lol.. http://amandamedlin.com/2013/11/diy-co-sleeper-pretty-little-quilt/ ) so the aim is to learn to BF while lying down so it's not as disruptive to me or baby. *Apparently* if you can do it you both sleep a lot better as there's minimal moving around. That may be a load of bs but I'm hoping i'll be lucky and it'll go to my cheap plan...

daisiegg sorry to hear you are bleeding again, hugs xx

    GeekPetite Welcome!

lilmissreading I felt flutters since around 12 weeks ish. People kept telling me it was too early but it was confirmed when the midwife did the doppler at 16 weeks as I could feel when we could hear the baby kicking! I think everyone is different. I have only started feeling every day now at 19 weeks and hubby only felt it through my tummy this week.

Lemon Tree Sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish. I feel your pain in regards to constipation. Luckily no sickness for me.
