Oh sweetheart RUBBISH
Do you know if that's the kind of pattern - days on, days off of bleeding or like everything, it just depends? Either way, how blooming stressful.Met DH to be 2010

Doesn't seem to have any pattern. However I think this morning might have been brought on by a big coughing fit in the night! I know that sounds weird but you know (or maybe you don't..) when they are doing an internal exam and ask you to cough because it kind of pushes the cervix out a bit. I think that is the link today.
I know I have no reason to worry, we have a clear explanation for the bleeding and it is nothing scary, and the baby is fine...I KNOW all that, but I still absolutely hate going to the loo and seeing blood. Also the utterly irrational part of me keeps thinking 'well I know baby was fine at 11.30am last Tuesday when we had the scan but how do I know it is fine now?'0 -
Hugs daisy. Must be so upsetting. Did you say you can feel the baby now? Hopefully that is reassuring.0

I have not felt any movements yet todaybut I was feeling it last night. I am only feeling very fleeting, faint movements at the moment and usually only when I am doing/thinking about something else...when I concentrate on trying to feel them I never seem to be able to feel a thing!
This is when I wish hubby would let me get a Doppler. Mind you, if I couldn't find the heartbeat I would be even more worried than I am now.0 -
Hi GeekPetite! I started singing along to the tune of Reet Petite when I saw your name, oops!
Daisie, so sorry to hear this. It must be so frustrating and worrying for you. Sorry I can't help or provide any words of advice other than those that have already been said by others. Sending virtual hugs.
AFM - Still fat and bloated at 16+3 although baby is starting to make its presence known underneath it all. When did you all start to feel movement? Nothing here as yet.
I'm going to a ceilidh tonight and I have absolutely NO IDEA what I'm going to wear. I've got one maternity dress that is still too big and I don't think I'm going to fit into the rest of my dresses. I don't have time to go shopping now - trust me to leave it to the last minute! Should have thought of this when I was through in Inverness yesterday! No longer ...tobe! I started to feel little flutters at about 16 weeks but I was on holiday and spending lots of time lazing around so I think maybe I was feeling it earlier than I otherwise would have done as I was very still.
Enjoy your ceilidh! I can't imagine doing one at the moment  but that is perhaps because the men in my family take them very seriously...there was a big family ceilidh last night actually (though we did not go) and my cousins and aunties are all posting pictures of their bruised upper arms on Facebook today :rotfl:
Be careful!!0 -
We got out cot bed in the end - woohoo. Her messages weren't getting through for some reason. It's in bits but it looks really nice.
My sister told me to get 2 maternity nighties for the birth - a pack of 2 at Mothercare. So if 1 is soiled there's another. Plus, she took Alw@ys night pads rather than maternity pads and high knickers.
T2D, I just wrote a few paragraphs of questions for your DH and it's disappeared. But here's your argument for not only having a stroller/car seat: http://www.am-news.com/content/baby-dies-while-sleeping-car-seat I also read something about curvature of the spine.
Is he thinking of selling the car now? Otherwise what's the point of not getting a car seat. You could always do your food shopping on-line or he could do it every week while you do something interesting with the baby - as obviously you both can't go with him as it's not safe. But are the amenities you're going to now use very soon within walking distance or on a public transport route? Like the hospital!, doctors, health centre, mum and baby group and the local swimming pool. Or are taxis an option?
Daisie, I don't think you are being irrational. I thought the same and we'd only had the scan an hour earlier and I'd not had any more bleeding. It's strange but I eventually got used to seeing the blood.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120
