Pink tp, I found hycosy awful. Most painful thing I've had done by far. But I don't remember a thing about EC, just the lovely moment where you sink into sedation. Next thing I knew I was back on the ward and making OH laugh by not shutting up about a clock for some reason.

tea Don't put ideas in my head about peeing on OV sticks for God's sake! :rotfl: What would it show?! (Not that I am er tempted...!) This is my longest cycle in over a year. How typical is that?!

pinkteapot I am in utter denial about the EC and opted to block out anything remotely scary / painful the nurse told me about it. :rotfl: I may well be in for a shock in a few weeks.

AFM the doubled up dose of met is doing a number on me so feeling abut wobbly. Slightly disconcerting as hard to predict CD1 as I can't tell what's the met and what's my usual body response to things. Wish it would hurry up and arrive, any extra days on met are not appreciated!

I called the on call doctor from the clinic and it's as I expected - our cycle is likely cancelled as I will/have probably ovulate(d) without the synarel to keep it at bay

Have to wait until Friday scan to be sure but it doesn't look good. Am absolutely devastated.

DH and I have agreed that we need to take a step back from this for a while for my sanity so I and I will just say thank you to all of you lovely ladies and I honestly wish you all all best.xxx

isla - big met hugs! I had to go to bed early last night as I felt so sick. Really thought the side effects might wear off by now. During my scan yesterday the nurse said I had a 'grumbling bowel' (oh, the dignity!) it's been grumbling for 2 years now!

love actually - hope your eggs have been getting busy overnight

I have a massive bruise from my blood test yesterday, and a weird lump. It's like a big blood blister! The injection I did was fine, but the bit the nurse did looks bad and really hurts! Maybe I should take my own blood next time lol.

Met is evil, I lost so much weight on it and couldn't eat I had to come off it.

Morning ladies

It's really difficult for me to come on here at the moment due to various reasons but thought I'd update you all on how things are going for us. DH had to have another SA, this time he had to produce the sample at the hospital so they could test it quicker. Results have got worse, count is now 6 million ( from 13.5 million ) and everything else is lower. Could be in part due to medication DH is on so we will be going ahead with IVF but they want to freeze sperm now incase things get worse again. Just got to wait for the referral appointment to come through now which they said will be within 18 weeks and that will be a 2 hour appointment apparently with presentations?? I think they said they will be going down the ICSI route as that's what they feel will give us the better chance.

So not alot we can do now until these appointments come through, just have to wait I guess. I'm so sorry I haven't time to read up on how everyone is doing, I hope you're all well though x

Pink teapot - it's actually I did not remember anything last thing I remembered was the nurse putting my legs in the stirrups and after that I woke in recovery.

Afm - got the call out of 8 eggs two were immature, 2 did not fertilise, 2 fertilised abnormally so discarded which only left us with 2 fertilised eggs. A bit disappointed but it only takes one right !!!

They will call me back on Saturday to see if it is a 3dt or 5dt

AFM, think have just had my first out burst on the medication. Across the road is Big bully, lay about drug dealer with 5 kids.
He bullies the elderly people on the street. Never had a run in myself, but blasting music out of a car with no one in it and not even outside their house. Well had to go across and ask them to put a stop to it. Door opened and the place stank of cannabis. Got a door slammed in my face.
Have clammed down about it now, took me everything not to shout you don't deserve a kids etc. Glad I didn't would have set me upset for the whole day and thinking why, how, unfair that people like that get blessed with children
