We had our follow-up in June (after a March/April cycle) and could have started again anytime after that. Due to one administrative c***-up after another it's actually ended up being a year.

Thanks for all your wishes girls.

The EC went well was done within half an hour did not feel a thing.

Now to the news I got 8 eggs yippee I m so happy with myself right now. We are also getting embryo scope. They will call me tomorrow to inform about fertilisation. I hope at least 5 will get fertilised. They are aiming for a day 5 or day 3 transfer. Off to bed now.

Will update tomorrow after the call.

B!gger, I *think* I might've forgotten to take my down reg sniff this morning. Clinic closed, has anyone else done this while stimming...? I've taken it late but paranoid I might ov now as isn't it to stop you oving before egg collection?? ARGH!

Loveactually - re EC, did you not feel anything or do you not remember feeling anything?!

Consultant did freak me out on one point but didn't want to say earlier, knowing you were going in for EC! She really stressed the fact that EC hurts a lot. She said I'll be sedated but also have IV pain meds and gas and air! !!!!!!? Then she said I won't remember it afterwards. Why tell me then?!!

Then again she went on about three times about how painful a HyCoSy is, and when I said I didn't really feel it at all, she was surprised and said I'd be fine with EC then. What on earth?

Congrats on the haul and glad it was over so quickly.
