Today one of DH's friends announced his girlfriend's pregnancy, complete with scan photo. DH is really upset and has gone to bed early. He said he's really sad that he'll never get to do that. :(:(

Oh code, I'm so sorry. How are you feeling about it? It's so difficult to manage what you're trying to process when babies seem to pop up everywhere. *hugs*

Good luck to everyone having scans today! Still no AF for me so knicker watch continues. Now at the irrational "could I be pregnant?" stage. (No, no i couldn't)Someone wag a finger lol.

Isla - I'm in no position to be wagging fingers, I even peed on an ov test last cycle as I didn't have any hpts :o:rotfl:.

Scan and blood test went ok, start 150mg menopur this evening. Now I just have to remember how to actually do the injections... seem to have blanked it out of my memory. Next scan on Monday.

Just put everything on the credit card that never gets used so am expecting the bank to call me soon :rotfl:.

Hi ladies, just been catching up.

    Congratulations on the BFP!

Congratulations on the PUPO ladies - hope the next 2ww is not too awful.

welcome to the newbies - hope your stay is short.

AFM, well its CD1 for me.....not surprisingly. Have to admit after 21day bloods and being told my progesterone was 126 I did think this could be it. How stupid am I.

So here goes, attempt 21 and the 10th taking clomid.

I don't like wishing time away but I really do wish the FS appt in June/July hurries up as this all feels a complete waste of time.

Update from me whilst on 2ww - bloatedness came back so went back for scan and now classed as moderate ohss so off for rest of week.

I don't think I mentioned but I was lucky enough to have 3 blastocysts also for freezing which is nice.

How are others copying with 2ww? I keep looking for symptoms etc. I did notice on scan my lining was now 18mm... Not sure if good or bad?!

First appt with IVF consultant was good, and I'm feeling much calmer now. :D

Cycle definitely won't be until after our holiday in June. I'm on CD4 now and it would only fit in beforehand if they could start me on CD21 this cycle, but they can't, so no option but to postpone.

I'm actually relieved TBH. There's a plan now. We know when it's going to be, and we're not trying to cram it in before we're away (timing would have been really tight). I wasn't at all in the right head-space to start the treatment immediately. We moved house a month ago and it was a big, stressful move that we're only just starting to relax after. I haven't had anywhere near enough time to prepare mentally for the IVF getting underway. We're only postponing it by a couple of my cycles, which isn't very long in the grand scheme of things. We can wind down properly after the move, have a fab holiday and come back refreshed and really ready to DO THIS!! :)

Right decision - I feel pretty relaxed about it all now.

One thing I learned that I didn't know before - if the first cycle is unsuccessful we have to wait six months before starting a second cycle.

I talked about my fears about how low I'll feel on the drugs and the consultant could only really say "yes, you probably will". Least she was honest!

As we're unexplained infertility, I'm now on a mission to try like crazy until mid-June in the desperate hope that I'll get a last minute reprieve from having to do it! Unlikely but you never know.

Thank you again for all the support during my recent hissy fit / wobble. I really was feeling rubbish about it all but much more back on an even keel now.

Huge amounts of good luck and vibes to everyone currently undergoing treatment. xxx

    Hi all

Sorry I've not been around. Things have carried on being pretty rubbish. I've been in bed all week with tonsilites which isn't getting any better. Still no news about my funding and just received a letter saying they will look into my complaint but its likely to take quite a long time :( nearly half way through this lot of hormones then break for a week and start again, can just feel the time slipping through my fingers.

    Sorry for the moan ladies.
