Congrats to Chickpea and Tink!
My Dr was very nice and has put me on beta blockers for the anxiety, but says he can't treat the depression as might lower fertility, Dr Google doesn't agree, have any of your heard of this before? Not seeing much effect from the beta blockers ATM, but I can increase the does so fingers crossed. My Gynaecologist says they finally have my blood tests back, took over a month, doesn't bode well for having IVF done there, should I look for somewhere else you think?
*hugs to all*0 -
Tea - Hope your AF turns up pretty soon
Pickle - sorry no advice but lots of hugs regarding the anxiety
afm - got the call now from hopsital trigger shot today at 11:30 pm and EC on Wednesday. Getting a bit anxious now.

picklekin - if you do have options on clinics/hospitals it wouldn't hurt to at least check them out. The clinical staff we've seen have been fine, but the admin/organisational side of it is really not great. It's made us both seriously doubt whether we should be using them again. Having said that, we don't have another option that's near enough to be practical so we're giving them the benefit of the doubt. I think sometimes it can help to have a look around, even if you end up going with the same place - can make you feel a bit more in control. I hope the beta-blockers start to work soon for you x.
CD1 officially here, have first scan at 8.20am on Wednesday (CD3) and fingers crossed will be starting menopur that evening. Scared now!!
ETA: LA, I will be dancing from now until Wednesday for you (with a short break for the internal scan lol). EC generally doesn't hurt. There will be some people that have problems (don't want to over-generalise and say it's fine for everyone) but that is the exception. Personally I love it!0 -
All the best for the scan Tea .

I am not gong to lie... I woke up with a bit of cramping and over the next couple of days my bellybutton was brusied! However I think some of my pain was my enlarged ovaries rather than just EC!
This week is going to drag... I have found myself googling early pregnancy tests... :rotfl:0 -
Good luck Love actually
Tea - hope the scan goes well
Picklekin - I have a friend currently on antidepressants but not ttc at the moment - she has been advised to try and come off the antidepressants before starting ttc.
No harm in looking around at other clinics if that is an option for you, that does seem like a long wait to get the bloods back.0 -
tea good luck! I might yet be a cycle buddy as I should be CD1 today but typically no sign of the lady AF when you actually want her to show up! :rotfl:
I'm starting 1000mg of Metformin as of tomorrow :eek:Sealed Pot Challenge #9550 -
