Lisa I think you know, but stay well away from ibuprofen whilst having any treatment or planning on it.

Whilst i had my icsi's I had mega migraines and could only take paracetamol for it.

Good luck ladies, sad to so many familar names from my journey x

Star its a great feling not having to inject anymore, how many days did you do it for?
  • Hi All :)

Haven't been around for a while as just feeling so disheartened with everything ..... and still feel that I don't really qualify for this thread or the other LOL! Far too long in the tooth to be on the other one BUT everyone on here seems to be a fair way down the fertility route and talking about such scientific things which i don't have a clue about LOL!!

Anyone like me, just been trying for AGES (I don't want to say how many years again eeeek) but not having any intervention at this point in time?

I am seeing whoever it is I have been referred to on Friday 21st - wasn't a "fertility specialist" but rather a gynae consultant so not sure whether thats right or I will just meet another dead end

Those who are "further down the line".... What happened at your first appt? I have booked in for another set of day 21 bloods at GP on Tuesday and will ask for a print out to take along of both sets. Also have already got a printout from GP of DH's SA results. Is there anything else you think I should take? I just don't want to get there and be fobbed off for more of the same bloomin' tests to prolongue the agony!! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ladies :A

Hope you are all doing okay - Hugs to those who are in need of them :)
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

    What's the tablet for Star?

Just off to the clinic for my 2nd scan, also start cetrotide today, more injections!
And my arm still feels like it's been in a vice and is still turning yellow!
But the sun is out and I'm going shopping on the way home so today will be a good day!

Star wow that really sounds quick. It's not quite the same but each injecting cycle I was doing it for 6.5 weeks.

Lisa I hope the shopping helps.

    The tablet is Cabergoline

It's used to help avoid OHSS or limit its severity
