Oh PM it sucks!! I don't know what else to day, I know you've tried all you can to get them to sort this out so I don't know what else to suggest.
You are so strong to keep on though, even though I'm sure you've had enough. Just hoping for a change for the better for you all the time.

Anyone want a pretty useless arm? Mines bloody sore and still puffy x

Lisa thanks. I am pretty fed up with it all tbh. Starting round 10000000 of hormones on mon.I wouldnt say im strong just trying to stay away from the hystrecotmy for as long as poss.

Arm sounds painful, I hope its better soon.
  • Lisa, sorry to delurk... Have you tried elevating your arm and hot/cold compresses to reduce swelling? It's what we used to do to our patients and it tended to settle down the swelling, inflammation and pain. :)

Not tried anything really TCOD apart from wiggling it about and moaning a lot ;-)
It isn't too bad bent but hurts like hell when I try to straighten it out and it's got a corking bruise showing already. My forearm is the worst, all puffy and swollen.

I'll try those cures now, thanks!!

DH got a letter through from the hospital today, and he's only just opened it. It was dated early February and it arrived today!! Turns out his blood test showed chromosomal abnormalities which led them to a diagnosis of Klinefelter Syndrome, and the chances of them getting any sperm from him surgically is less than 5%. It confirmed that donor insemination is our only treatment going forward which we knew already but it's really hard to read that. :(:(

Lisa that sounds horrendous. Do you have any arnica? It's great for bruising. You should definitely do the compresses too. Are you allowed ibuprofen?

    Oh Code.

That must be hard to read. Perhaps in time it may give you some break from a small amount of stress though, with it in black and white is harsh indeed but it is one less thing to wonder about, especially when you already knew it to be the case. I hope that makes sense, it does in my head at least!!

Didn't sleep well last night, woke up about 3am and been awake since.

My arm is still very sore and has started to go yellow. Can't take ibruprofen unless desperate which i'm not so am just bearing it. Been doing ok stress wise til yesterday but think it all got a bit on top of me yesterday hence the lack of sleep.

Got some work to do this morning then tidy up then might retire to the sofa for the rest of the day, home alone all weekend so the movie choices are mine. Any recommendations? (I don't do chick flicks)

Hope everyone else is ticking along as well as can be x
