Just spoken to a nurse, in tears explained again whats been going on. She said she would personally pass on my message to my fs, I just hope she does. She said it wasn't good ive been bleeding since dec.
  • PM - huge huge hugs to you, I don't know what to say, I wish I could give you a real life hug really. Life is really sh**ty [STRIKE]sometimes[/STRIKE] all the time, will a box of creme eggs help at all? :grouphug: :kisses3:

Just to add as well, OTD is tomorrow but I've been spotting since last Sunday and today I'm bleeding just like the first day of AF.
I will test tomorrow as per the clinic's instructions but I already know it'll be negative. Oh well, couldn't really expect it to work first time, I suppose!

Time to crack open a proper easter egg and hand it round methinks :D :EasterBun

    Hugs to everyone xxx

Frozen - hugs to you, get a giant Easter egg in! x

RG/Fairy - how are you lovely ladies getting on? Have either of you had your review yet? Hugs x

PM - so sorry to read you are still having troubles. I really wish they could sort things out for you. x

Tea - has OH given is sample to freeze yet? Good they want a back up just in case. gives them more to work with. Did you get your consent forms all filled in?

Littleme - sounds like they are fobbing you off! It is so frustrating when we have to wait and wait and wait. Hope the 3 months go quickly, plan lots of nice things to do. x

CWTW - hope the clomid works for you. x

Star - very best of luck for your cycle, do you have a cycle buddy, maybe Wonder Woman?

LoveActually - great your stimms have started. My AMH is <4 and I was on 600iui Gonal-F for the first two days, then 375 per day + luveris the whole time. I wasn't given any advice on diet except no alcohol or drugs and reduce caffeine intake. x

WW - how is your cycle going? Have you had your baseline scan yet?

Tia - my DH was the same, suddenly he'd come out with how he wasn't really fussed about having a child and it floored me every time. I think it was just his way of coping, like 'well I don't really want a child so no big deal if this doesn't work' sort of think. Chat to him about it and you'll probably find that things are just playing on his mind. x

Isla - have you had your DR injection? Hope your cycle goes well. x

Hope you don't mind me lurking about ladies, I still feel like I belong here rather an anywhere else. xx

The low carbs is also recommended if slight PCOS. (They spotted this on my first base scan last month (not mentioned before). This is because "Insulin is a hormone secreted into the blood by the pancreas in response to the arrival of glucose (sugar) in the blood after the digestion of carbohydrates. With Insulin resistance, the cells are not as sensitive to insulin, stimulating the pancreas to secrete extra insulin in an attempt to keep blood sugars normal. It's this excess circulating insulin that is thought to trigger many of the hormonal changes seen in PCOS."

    I did find this: https://www.acog.org/About_ACOG/News_Room/News_Releases/2013/High_Protein_Low_Carb_Diets_Greatly_Improve_Fertility

No I dont have a cycle buddy! Started my morning injections of the other medication today - this one made my tummy itchy for a short while (like a bite).

Which is why they give us metformin - the devil's drug. Give me heavy-duty injections any day over the never-ending side-effects of met. :p

    Hi ladies.
In bed with a crappy headache today, and that's before injections start!
I don't think I post enough for folks to remember that I'm cycling also so I had best up my game in the next few weeks!
I'm sorry folks are having such a rough time of it, I think I've been through every emotion that Goes along with infertility, although not all the medical issues of course and it really really sucks, there are loads of other things I could say about it but we all know, we have all felt it!
Had our scratch last Monday, and guess what, no clip!! It was fine although she did say that my cervix has fibrosis which is probably what caused problems before, this is because of laser removal of precancerous cells back in 2008.
Anyway, injections start on day 2 which Will probably be Tuesday and a scan on day 6 along with my first intralipids drip. I am on 300 merional after only being on 225 last time, I'm concerned about OHSS again but they seem to think it's the way to go with my age etc. I also seem to have estraoidal patches in my meds, lord knows what they are for but I'm liking patches as they at least don't have to be jabbed or shoved into me anywhere!!
OH is at work Monday afternoon and all the way through probably til the day before EC (works in Europe) which sucks a lot but it means he can be here for most if not all of the 2ww.
Thinking of all of us x

Good luck with this cycle Lisa, one day at a time..

FP - sorry it's not looking good, I hope you're wrong, I really do.

AFM - having a meltdown week! I think I have lots of unexpressed grief over the 3 m/cs and it's all kind of boiled over this week. Today for example, a colleague near me in a different team is pg and obviously announced it by email to loads of people, who then rushed over with screams and hugs and tears (hers, happiness). It kind of pushed me over the edge anyway, I stomped off and sobbed in the toilets. Again.

Anyway - have a good weekend one and all, sorry for those who're having a rough time at the minute - I feel your pain.

    x
