Also officially stated stims today (day 2) got day six scan on Friday.
I usually stim for about 10 days but it varies between people upto about 14 days I think.
It still amazes me how different the procedures are at different clinics!

I stimmed for 16 days last time, am hoping it's less this time!

AFM - I've calmed down a bit since the appt last week. Not much we can do about it so will just have to go with what he says. Get the SA results this week and my bloods next week so will be nice to find out if clomid is actually making me OV........

I had a wonderful "announcement" experience at the weekend. I felt awful that I wasn't as happy as everyone else - just can't help it.

Little me i think we all feel like that, more so IMO as the journey lengthens.

I'm pretty sure my fs is going to say more hormones if next week we sill haven't heard about funding.

Thanks everyone for your best wishes - rang the clinic this morning who were ever so helpful and lovely. Review appointment will be 26th March and she said they'll also talk about when we can try again. Hopefully it won't be too long to wait.

Also just started reading 'The Pursuit of Motherhood' by Jessica Hepburn after spotting a recommendation on Infertility Network UK's facebook page. In the first chapter she writes about how many people have had babies/been pregnant since she started trying (she counts 18).
I made the mistake of counting (since Dec 2011) how many me and DH know - it came to 33! :eek:
Methinks we know far too many people...

A couple of people who had pre schoolers when I started are now grandparents. Their children had kids young yes but still....
But hey ho, its our turn ladies x

Had first progress scan today and they counting 9 on left and 5 on right in size range of 9-12 (only one 12). Keeping me on low dosage as things are progressing - relieved that doing injections correctly!!! Had visisons of being told off today! Have another one weds so will know then if more likely to be Friday or Monday egg collection.
