time2deal I know I'm not on a cycle right at the moment but I'm happy to take over the lists (if that's okay with everyone else).
Can't believe you're 10 weeks already as well, that's gone fast! Keeping my fingers crossed for you for the next 30 :-) x0 -
Loveactually wrote: »Thanks for the lists T2D.
So almost five of us going through at the same time.
It's star02, Wonder Woman, tea lover, lisawood and myself.
Anybody else joining we can decide on a name then.
I wish all of us the very best.:T
The time is whizzing by and pleased to say injections getting much easier - spend less time messing around when preparing the drugs!!
Another scan tomorrow hopefully all okay!
Good luck everyone0 -
2 injections done here and scan and intralipid drip on Friday.
Got so many tablets to take that i'm rattling! Can't believe there are so many of us going at once, and the sun is shining.
Today seems a good day x2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Still fighting with the NHS here, they still haven't found our test results. Hubby rung up 2 weeks ago to put in a verbal complaint and was promised that the head boss woman (not sure what her job role is, but she's the boss effectively) would phone him back within a few days. Mmmmm still no phone call back.
So looks like we have choice but to sit around and wait for the next appointment which is only an ultrasound scan, so that's going to get us nowhere.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Oh vesper that sounds so frustrating. Have you tried PALS as well as the department?
It's amazing that there are so many ladies here all cycling at the moment - fingers firmly crossed for you all!
FP it's so kind of you to offer to take over the lists. It's really nice to be able to see where other people are. If you get the chance, could you please update me to the Ovulation Induction group: Starting 3 cycles of Clomifene (50mg) next CD2 (Apr) while on IVF waiting list.
AFM, I'm sorry that I don't have time to read back to get up to date with everyone, things are a bit manic here. However, I had my appointment with FS this morning and finally have some progress to report. Well, sort of. Lap&Dye came back normal (as I knew already), so we're definitely, 100% completely unexplained. Well, that sucks, but at least we can move on.
We now have our referral for IVF at Hammersmith (expecting that to take 2-3 months), plus 3 cycles' worth of Clomifene for the meantime. When he said he wanted me on Clomifene I objected (as the guidelines say no point for unexplained, and I was worried about the delay). I would never have thought to question if not for you marvellous bunch. In my case, FS said that it won't hold up the IVF referral and is just something to try in the meantime. Plus I found out that the age limit in my area's actually 39, so I don't have to panic about getting it done before I turn 35 in September. Still only get one funded go though.
I hadn't expected the Clomifene so haven't paid much attention to everyone's experiences - now I'll need to learn fast I guess. They'll be doing blood tests for me whilst on it, but no scans.
Action plan now is i) LOSE WEIGHT, ii) 3 cycles of Clomifene, iii) DTD, iv) hurry up and wait for IVF. Off to my first Rosemary Conley class tonight to get things started!
Hugs to everyone xxxx35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -
Vesper hugs to you so unfair for them to still be muckinv you around.
Floaty i hope the clomid helps although with unexplined its not recomened.
Afm no news and youve guessed it still bleeding.
Sorry on phone so not sure if ive missed anyone.0 -
Hi ladies
Star - well done on your count! Fingers crossed for a good collection for you.
Jammy - that is really quick. Hope the clomid works for you in the meantime.
Wonderwoman - I know how your feel, I had one of those "announcements" too at the weekend. Felt like getting up and walking out there and then. It was very difficult.
Goodvibes - great news
Partmouse - keep going, you've come this far don't give up hope
T2D - hope all is going well and thanks for all the updates you have done
Frozen - thanks for taking over the lists
Lisa - glad the injections are going ok
Vesper - its awful what has happened to you and your DH. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.
Floaty - thats great news that you have your IVF referral. Clomid is prescribed as the wonder drug. I'm on the 10th cycle with it....! We have problems though so as unexplained it may just be the kick you need to create the wonder egg!
AFM, we got OH SA results yesterday and they have improved. A+B are now at 40% (we were 10%) but still a huge number of bad swimmers (56%).
Of the 40% good ones less than 1% are normal. Last time we had 1% of 10% normal. I'm no good working this out but I think we may have slightly better odds?
The volume and count was good though.
Its OV week now, off for a blood test next week so then we'll know if I am actually OV on clomid or not.
have a good day everyone x0 -
Morning my amazing Lady Bugs Please can I have some advice......?
So it's our second 50mg cycle on clomid .... Cycle 1 I had +OV on CD13 & a scan on CD14 which showed a good size egg and fab mucus!!
Cycle 2 - currently CD17 and no +ov at all
I am now freaking out that I have not ov'd this cycle & that the clomid has not done anything but stopped me working.
Any advice / help would be much appreciated xxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Hi Tink
Don't panic! Clomid can affect the length of cycles so it may be that you will OV later this month. I have also heard that the medication can affect the results on any test strip so don't rely on OV test strips whilst taking it. Just BD regularly and you'll be sure to catch it.
x0 -
Glad things are improving for you littleme
Tinks, Don't worry
I remember into my 2nd month of clomid I found my cycle length was longer x0
