Hi Tea. This is the first big bust up that we've had that relates to TTC. We just took the news out on each other and 18 hours later its still not resolved. I know it will sort itself out but its crap in the meantime.

I hope you and your OH are ok.

The FS did say that he would let us know next week what the updated SA results are but he did also say that that won't change his recommendation that we try for another 3 cycles of clomid.

I feel so tired and drained x

I'd like to join the feeling rubbish and needing creme eggs group please. Cd1 here. That means I start clomid tomorrow. I know that there are lots of people much further along than me, but I so, so hoped I wouldn't need it. I guess I feel a bit like a failure, and that my body won't do the whole, basic function of being a woman, ie getting pregnant.
I'm also deeply paranoid that I'm going to become a crazy madzer on clomid and that my oh will need to live in a different town to me in order to save his own life, which will limit our ability to get pregnant.
In addition, I have a job interview tomorrow and I'm not even sure I want the job, and I'm a hormonal mess, and I don't really want to have to make a decision because I should be able to get blasted pregnant. Stupid body.

I would like to go to a quiet room and scream loudly today.

On a separate note, I've made the creme egg brownies and they are the most ruinously delicious things ever.

*hugs cwtw* I didn't find Clomid half as bad as I feared, just warn your OH you might be a little more cranky than usual. I know it feels bad to have resort to stuff, but at least your ARE taking steps.

Creme egg brownies you say? :D

The first injection was a bit scary - HATE NEEDLES. But it wasn't too bad at all! Roll on the next couple of weeks!

Is anyone else currently doing the menopur injections this week?

    Hi All,

    Hugs to all feeling down.

CWTW I was on clomid for 3 months and I did not have any side effects at all. The medication may not give side effects to everyone. Just be positive thinking that atleast you are taking some steps towards fertility now.

Hugs Tea, partmouse and Code for feeling down

All the best for saturday Frozen. Will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Star02 - all the best with the injections.

AFM - had my 2nd baseline scan today after starting buserelin. the lining is now down to 3.7mm :T. So the nurse told I can start Gonal F now from Monday onwards and gave me the demo
the size of the injection looks scary:eek:

Bloodtest and scan booked for 14th and 18th March. Excited and scared:j:(

any advice on what type of foods to eat and avoid during stimming.

During my cycle I had plenty of protein and dairy. Pret do a little pot which has 2 boiled eggs with spinach leaves, so I would have that each morning, with a mini pot of yogurt if I could face it too.

At lunch I had a salad, with chicken and turkey, and avocado. Snacked on walnuts (and creme eggs!). I also took folic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin E and a Calcium/VitaminD3 combined tablet. Plus Zinc. I took Royal Jelly the first time around, but decided not to this time as for some reason I wasn't sure it was ok.

Dinner was whatever DH decided to make! But you get quite bloated so less hungry at the end of the day. I was generally focussed on increasing protein, while reducing carbs.

Thanks so much for the reply T2D.

I have a pret 0.4 mile away from work so I think I can buy that pot every day in morning.

I want to try the pineapple juice because I heard it increases the lining, but I am reading contradicting views on that some say it may result in M/C and some say its good. do you know anything about it?
