Also early days I didn't feel much happening so it doesn't seem real.
Everything crossed for u Lily. Hope you are managing to enjoy the time away xxxMFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
3 weeks isn't that long Kate, I think I would be the same with all the injections, scans etc - hang in there! Keep yourself busy as you have done
Wow skaps, it doesn't seem that long ago that you got your BFP! Hope pregnancy has been uneventful
I am starting to get a little impatient now and just want to test when I get home. I am extremely worried it will be a negative but there is nothing I can do...on another note, I have been using utrogestan as my progesterone (as opposed to cyclogest from my previous 2 rounds) and it has been irritating the hell out of me - really sore down there - think its the exposure to the progesterone, will have to get something for it when I get back.
Trying to remain calm and keeping my fingers crossed for third time lucky! Would be nice to let the family know at Xmas that we are pregnant!
Hard not to be jealous on hearing the Duchess is pregnant having only been married for 5 months...

Evening all, hope everyone is ok
Well I had sneaky test this morning and I got a BFP!!! First in 3 years and 7 months of trying! I actually thought it would be a negative but i was so surprised to see 2 lines!
I had a blood test today and was told beta was over 500! Will be going in for a scan in 2.5 weeks time...I can't wait!!
Both really happy, wish i could have a glass of champers to celebrate
Love to all xxx0 -

Even though our struggle with conceiving was over 2 decades ago, I have been a silent watcher of this thread and have popped in several times today to see if there was an update.
Congratulations Lily xxWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Oh thank you so much Cheeky, Kate, Skaps & Sue! When we saw the 2 lines we had to double check the instructions lol, we are so so happy.
Not being able to speak with someone who is going through fertility issues has been difficult but I am so glad i found this board, even if to lurk like a weirdo...
Sorry to sound naiive, but I don't actually know what happens after the scan. Assume we will be released and will go back to our GP?
I know there are so many more hurdles to tackle such as reaching the 12 week mark, I am a natural worrier. Need another holiday already lol.
We've got our first scan next month. Just hope our little ferret (we nicknamed our bean!) keeps getting stronger

Does it feel real yet Lily? I bet you will find these next few weeks til the scan seem like forever!
I don't know what happens after the scan either, I was just planning to ask when I have it! I've been reading and some places refer to your GP and others to a midwife - I would have no idea how to arrange seeing a midwife though!
How great we are less than 2 weeks apart on this journey. I have been bursting to tell someone, I don't think I will be able to keep it to myself until the 12 week mark!
Stay healthy and keep in touch xxx0 -
No it doesn't Kate, seems surreal. I think it will feel real to me when we go to the scan and see the lil blob!
I'm sure the clinic will continue to monitor until the scan and then discharge back to GP if all ok? Surely it would be the GP that refers us to the midwife?
It's great that you were my ivf buddy but now also pregnancy buddy!!
I've already put on weight by almost 1 stone no wonder my trousers are feeling snug, but I hope this is just down to over eating whilst on hol lol.
Wishing you an easy and uneventful pregnancy, ditto to staying healthy & keeping in touch
