Skaps, how was the scan? I've never had a positive before - can anyone shed some light on what happens at the scans? Do they test blood levels?

We had ET on Weds, 2 x blastocysts but the other embies sadly didn't make it to freezing so keeping my fingers crossed that we get our very first positive next Fri! Trying to keep busy...

I have an embryo on board too. Still early in the two week wait though. Keeping my fingers crossed for you too lily_rose. Sometimes I wish we knew what was happening inside us right now. Keeping distracted with films, reading, puzzles etc.. how is your waiting going?

The scan went well. It was an internal scan. Saw a heartbeat and baby is doing well. Got a scan picture too. Have been transferred back to my GP to be referred to maternity services. No bloods taken. I'm still on Crinone until I'm 10 weeks.

How are the rest of yiu getting on?

Glad scan went well Skaps.
I retested this morning. Negative. So it was a chemical pregnancy. Feels like a cruel joke.

Oh no sloth, I hope the test was faulty, have you tested again? When are you due to attend FC?? Fingers crossed that it was just a faulty test :grouphug: xxx

I'm due to test on Fri and nervous about it. I don't feel pregnant, all the symptoms I had like cramps and sore boobs disappeared about 2/3 days ago.

Feel stressed at work aswell

Sorry to hear your news Lily_Rose and Slothsocks, thinking of you both. The failure of my last cycle hit me hard.

I'm trying my hardest to stay positive for this cycle. The whole ivf, TTC process really does take over our lives and is tough to deal with.

Thank you for your kind words ladies. To be honest with you, I didn't think I would be pregnant just because I have never been pregnant or had a positive. Plus I didn't feel pregnant.

We have a follow up appointment on Mon so see what they say about it. I really think there is something wrong with me - never been pregnant & trying for over 3 years. I believe there is something wrong with my egg quality or implantation....
